The record label of this still fairly new recording artist paid a ton of money to have the A- list singer given a huge award. It also helped that one of the agents of the singer is sleeping with the person who decides who gets the award. Is she a good singer/songwriter? Yeah. Does she deserve the award? No.

I like her. She's got talent and originality. She may not be good enough to deserve the award, but she's no worse than almost anyone else who would get it.

There are too many awards in the entertainment industry for most of them to mean anything. What is it with entertainers needing to feed their egos with pats on the back every 5 minutes? ?
