Blind Item #3

This B+ list mostly television actress from a very hit, very long running network comedy is close to death. Really close. And she is still very young.

Sarah Hyland.
But she does have kidney issues, so there's that.

Definitely Sarah, she is being pretty quiet about it but it is obvious she has some pretty serious health issues. Hope she gets better.

I don't wish ill on anyone but she is a cautionary Hollywood tale. I'm wondering if it was the booze or drugs that got her. I have heard fentanyl has not escaped California and one encounter with that can mess you up for a while.

She has serious kidney issues and received a transplant from her dad years ago. The health issues have to do w that, not drugs or alcohol

That sounds ominous, as if she's now in kidney failure and on dialysis. Prayers for her.

Sarah Hyland. The kidney transplant could be failing for whatever reason. She's on steroids to save her life. She said she has other health issues so it could be contributing to the kidney. My Dad has lived with one kidney for 60 years. Makes you very tired. I understand her job and working out but flying to Toronto all the time to visit her bf on set is not a wise thing to do.

I know kidney failure is bad, but . . . I've had several patients who have had kidney transplants that have failed. They go on dialysis, and get another transplant. Unless her anti-rejection/immunosuppressant medications have allowed a serious opportunistic infection or a cancer to develop, this isn't necessarily "the end".

She was born with the problem, it was not due to booze or drugs.

I don't have a transplant, but I have had one kidney for 28 years now. Does she have two kidneys or just one? My right kidney was defective and most of it was removed. Before my kidney was removed, I would have sharp, stabbing pain in my right side. All I could do was lay down and ride it out, if I was lucky enough to be at home when it hit.
I sure hope she gets through this and I hope her pain goes away.
