Amber has a severe drug problem (one of the things she shared with depp, but she's younger so it hasnt ruined her yet) and some mayor daddy issues that make her look for this kind of controlling AND SUCCESSFUL men . I don't think is gold digging, I think she likes psychopaths and that's what all rich people are, and since she is hot AF and a weirdo, of course those dudes fall for her. She likes men that like to own women. That is her crux.
