Debra Messing Says She Is Too Famous

Debra Messing gave some interview to a magazine called Haute Living New York which seems right up her alley. Sounds pretentious and inaccessible. Messing whined she is unable to walk the streets of NYC without being recognized and wishes she could have her anonymity back. No she doesn't. That kind of talk is crap. If she wants to be anonymous, then move to the middle of nowhere or hell, stay in NYC, change your hair color to blonde and who you are.

"I will never get my anonymity back. I can't walk through Time Square, and when I go to Broadway shows, it's an issue."

It is probably an issue because people point at her and then point on the stage and realize the people on stage can act.

Messing said she catches a break in the winter when she can hide under a scarf or hat.

"In winter, when I have a hat on, a scarf wrapped around my face, and you can’t see the color of my hair, I can walk anywhere.”

She said she prefers living in NYC because "In LA, everyone is in the same business. Here, you can’t go on a subway or walk the streets without bumping into people who are of a different race, religion or socioeconomic level. It makes me feel small in a way that feels healthy," she shared.

Umm, does she think everyone in LA is a red headed white person?

One word summary, "Pretentious!"
Or, how about, Entitled!?
I don't buy the 'Feel sorry for me because I'm famous routine.'

This sounds like a person who's coming off their peak high during an acid trip.

OMG she sounds like a moron

She's actually the thirstiest person in the planet. She's ridiculous. Just look at her Instagram. There's no way in hell she'd prefer to not be famous. She wouldn't know what to do if she couldn't name drop bigger celebs that she hangs out with. She and Mariska Hargitay need to move to their own little island and make babies as moronic as they are.

Would you go ahead and out her as Coke Mom already. I mean, c'mon.

OH PLEASE, I work in midtown, and have seen celebrities bigger than her walking around minding their own business. I walked right past Jared Leto and no one gave him a second look. John Travolta filmed Pelham 123 on my corner and he just stood there with no security and took pictures and talked to fans no one hassled him.

She's just an older version of Kristen Stewart, oh I am so put upon, life is so hard with fame, I don't want FAAMMEE, PAY ATTENTION TO ME I WANT FAAAMMMEE!

I wish Susan Sarandon would just do us all a favor and cold c### her the way we all know she wants to.

I was just going to ask, "isn't the point of being in NYC because people are cool with being around famous people and you know you won't get harassed?"

And when New Yorkers do try to interact with famous people, it's usually someway chill like when Alec Baldwin said people would mouth "good job/thank you" and give him thumbs up for playing Trump on "SNL"?

Also, I took a good look at the photo Enty provided and I can't remember her from anything (and I watch a LOT of telly).

*Yawn. And these people think they have some kind of supreme right to decide the political course of our country. A hillbilly living in a trailer in Alabama has more of a clue. Maybe you should move there Debra?

Good punch line there at the end, Enty!

Anyone who uses the words "socioeconomic level" is pretentious
( outside of academic papers).

Leave Mariska Hargitay out of this cat fight, please.

Mariska is as big as, if not bigger, a dumbass as Debra. They're the two fakest celebutards out there today.

A friend of mine was her nanny for a period of time. She said that not only was she nasty to her but to everyone that worked for her or did work in her home. She said she was beyond entitled and stuck up. Debra also failed to pay her for 2 months of work. She also was always lurking around thinking that my friend was trying to hit on her dirt ball husband. My friend thought he was a douche bag with a narcissist personality...
Deb needs to get over herself, nobody really gaf...

No, they don't think that, but they DO think they're as entitled to an opinion as anyone else. And they're right.
