Only in the eyes of the media. They are just embarrassing. Cheryl has been foisted upon the UK public for years, mainly as X Factor related, so powerfully repped by Cowell people, Modest and ITV. SHE GOT EVERYWHERE. Some of the media here had the audacity to call her the 'nation's sweetheart'.
