it's kinda sweet that her husband played that role since she was very young to protect her. I couldn't imagine having to keep my true self secret for that long.

I have seen many pictures of Cêline out and about Paris (she's really huge there, so her every move is recorded). Nothing about her shopping or being seen in restaurants though.
So I don't think it's her. Wouldn't be very 'out in public' if no one even notices?
Queen latifah did a whole paparazzi photoshoot on a yacht with her girlfriend years ago. She's been in a glass closet for like 20 years. It's Celine Dion. Many closeted celebs hide their partner in plain sight as an "assistant " "best friend " "manager " etc. That way they can be seen together and no one suspects anything. Clever. Instead of working to abolish closets and homophobia they're making their closets more opaque.
