It probably seems like a no win situation for this foreign born A- list mostly movie actress who is in that really big space franchise. She kicked coke but has gained about 20 pounds. The producers wanted her off coke but now want her to lose the 20 pounds she gained.

I disagree with framing this as a "no-win" situation. Getting off coke is a win. OK, you gain 20 pounds? There are other, healthy ways to lose the weight. It's not like you have to choose between doing coke or being heavier.
Started to write the same thing when I saw your comment. Ridiculous-- oh she just can't win because it's either snort coke or gain weight....no other options.

the crazy thing is you can still see her collarbone, which is a great indicator that the person does NOT have too much fat at ALL. sad. ppl appear heavier in film/photos, too. it aint a myth at all.

while Gwen was wearing a concealing suit at D23, she's so tall it's easier for her to hide 20 lb weight gain. I think she looks great, maybe she just can't fit into her phasma costume or they need her to actually do physical scenes other than being thrown down the garbage chute.
She actually looks better in the feb 2017 pic and she isn't "fat" in either of them. What's the big deal? I for one am tired of seeing the skeletal systems of skinny actresses.
