I just left a job after putting up with a boss who essentially a spiteful 13 year old. She's well protected by her boss and HR. So I had to leave.

No!
A number of us were recently forced out.
Our boss is and remains a self-entitled, jealous, immature, falsifying, spoiled brat.
Confidential personnel matters were fodder for gossip.
Employee performance was demeaned to make her look as if she was always forced to intervene.
Upper level management is receiving misleading information on projects, personnel matters, and other organizational matters.
Favoritism and nepotism are blatant events that a weak human resources department chooses to ignore.
It's sad since the organization started out to do good things, now it appears to be yet another self-serving entity.

She treats us like babies and will chew us out knowing the entire department is within earshot. Not sure why I'm still here, I've only made like $3000 more in salary in the last 10 years, still putting me under where I thought I'd be at this point in my life. So I go online and come in late every day.

Yeah, I do. He's a good guy, very mellow. It helps that we're all waaaaay down the ladder in a very large multinational corporation so the fact that he's my "boss" doesn't really mean much.

You should definitely keep on going online and being late if you don't want an increase in salary or career advancement.

I'm thinking of having Taryn Manning play Jeff Zucker in the movie - they have about the same sized forehead.

Yes, I do. She's incredibly knowledgeable, very kind, and supportive.

One can only hope she'll finally be found out, then she'll be on the curb. I hate shit like that.

I do. She was my friend before she became my supervisor, and now manager. Friendship and work are separate and it works well. Now our dept. has a new supervisor starting at the end of the month - one who is known for cleaning up departments (she's been everywhere in this company). I doubt we can work even more lean than we are now. We're hoping she decided to be our supervisor because she thinks it's an easy department.

I'm my own boss, although I do report to other people and get along fine with all of them. But the last time I worked in an office, I had a horrible boss. Staff turnover is very high over there, but Corporate doesn't seem to care.

We get along fantastically. He's been my boss for only 1 year, but it feels like we've known each other for a decade!

He always has my back, tells me that I'm awesome and how much he enjoys working with me. Two thumbs up from me and everyone reporting into him.

Yes, she leaves me alone when I need it but answers emails pretty fast when I need that. I hate helicopter bosses, the less my name comes up the happier I am, just let me do my job

Okay, I checked, and oddly enough they do have similar foreheads

I'm the boss. I'm also human, so despite trying to keep a happy and productive environment, I can be short at times. Nobody has quit yet, so I suppose I'm ok to work for.
