Do you believe in air?

OGJustReading said...

Yes, I "believe" in scientific fact. Btw, it's Climate Change".

Big fan of science, so yes.

Former CNN Anchor Candy Crowley said...

I always bring up global warming at cocktail parties. It helps break the ice.

Lurky McLurkster said...

Yes but it would happen with or without mankind's help to speed it along

Brondie said...

NO.

Lieferd said...

Of course. We have evidence that global warming exists. Unlike jesus/god/allah, all figments of weak ass imaginations.

Yup,
That damn hurricane was fed by the slightly higher than normal temperatures of the gulf waters.

Is this a joke? Global warming is a scientific fact, not a religion to believe in or not

Txredhd said...

Of course. It's true and based on FACT.

A qualified yes. The world is warmer every year, that's a fact. Man has damaged the ecosystem and caused some of the climate change. But floods and droughts
etc. have happened throughout time...warming isn't the cause of every storm.

Al Gore said...

Let me fly my private jet over Houston and get a sense if global warming is involved. BTW, did you know my house uses 21x the electricity of the average home. Take that, carbon footprint.

The Goracle has spoken.

Loaded question since the globe temperature changes constantly and depending on the beginning date from which you start your calculation, we could be warming or cooling.
In the context of a gossip blog, it's a political question about whether you favor of the politicians who use "global warming" (or "climate change") as an excuse to siphon more money away from regular people to their favored cronies for ostensibly scientific purpose.

TootsMcGee said...

LOL. Curious, who are these malevolent scientific cronies? How dare evil scientists help our planet remain a place that can sustain life. Definitely work of the devil, ya'll.

WeeKitty said...

Follow the money. Scientists have a vested interest in a grant donor's happy ending.

WeeKitty said...

Should be man-made climate change and not to the degree the scam artists (looking at you Gore) are shilling.

OKay said...

Y'know, people in Canada make that exact same claim about David Suzuki too, and it's simply 100% not true. I'm guessing it's just more of the same here with Gore.

OKay said...

Of course climate change is happening - and at a much faster rate than it should be. And yes, we have caused most of it. It's just silly to insist otherwise. You can't change facts no matter how loud you yell.

YES!!!

No. Do some actual research and get back to me.

YES!! My hometown used to have a winter then spring. We had all 4 seasons. Now it is summer then a short cold spell, 2 months of spring, and an eternity of summer!

Sd Auntie said...

Of course there is. Hope the air stays clean and water clear. Polluters suck....

Lieferd said...

@Brondie So that means the flooding in Houston is a myth too? That's nice.

Lieferd said...

@Lurky McLurkster Enjoy the view of your colon. Climate change is manmade.

anon.4 said...

Duh! The problem is most of the people in Congress don't grasp basic science.

Lamb said...

No. If you say yes, explain the ice age.
