The rape charges were dropped some time ago.
The charges were dropped or the Swedish police closed the investigation because they couldn't go further since he is hiding in the embassy? The victim wants the case reopened.
Apparently Pam was seen visiting Hef not long before he died, and then visiting Assange. Now there's a theory that Hef was sitting on a massive pile of blackmail material (he was perfectly positioned to collect it over the years), and that he gave it to Pam who gave it to Assange, and that's why it's starting to leak out all over the place. I kinda doubt it, though, at least not that simple. It's not coming out in the usual Wikileaks way as a release, and they're not set up to go around having private meetings with lots of celebrities. I figure Assange would have had to pass it along one more time, in a trade.
I hope this is true and someone, maybe Cosby, has a ton of rock solid proof exposed to prove his guilt.
They never charged him, is that something they could have done without him being present? i read that you can be charged without being arrested, but not sure if that is the same all over the world.

@pinot grigio, love AJ Benza, but I think he's a bit of a tinfoil hatter. I had insomnia the other night and fell down the rabbit hole on Youtube...I think AJ gets his conspiracy theories from a right wing wacko named David Kublick, this Kublick states a lot of the same info AJ does on his site, but his was published before Benza's show. Also didn't love how AJ said the Sylvester Stallone rumours couldn't be true, because he is a hero of his, bogus.
In gossip world Lorde is a one hit wonder to all except devoted Lorde fans of which there are very few.

@badseed...I never said Stallone coulddn't be guilty because he is a "hero of mine." He most certainly be guilty, but I'm betting this particular story isn't true. As I said, "I wouldn't bet against Rocky Balboa." As for the other guy you mentioned, David Whomever...I've never heard of him. But I'll check him out now. And thanks for listening and subscribing.
The rape allegations were a made up smear by those who want to silence Julian. Exposing dark and dirty secrets gets you plenty of powerful enemies.
Assange was wanted by the Swedish authorities for question over incidents relating to three women. In Sweden, not using a condom when your partner wants you to is a rape charge. This is one of the things they want to talk to him about. There are three (?) women I think. One of them seems to have been a plant who has disappeared off into a remote part of the world. Seems like a very muddy mess of transgressions. Julian shows signs of being a raging narcissist who doesn't want to be brought to account for anything.
