Leo used to be a great actor imo. I loved his early work - Gilbert Grape, Basketball Diaries, Total Eclipse, Marvin's Room, Don's Plum. Back then, his acting was subtle, yet intense. I was also very impressed with a few scenes in Romeo and Juliet, especially the ending. But after Titanic... Idk, something changed. He always tries too hard now, and he doesn't have that spark anymore, that charisma. I feel like he built a wall around himself after Titanic which protects him from being affected by all the craziness, but also impairs his acting (and makes him come across like a weirdo in interviews). Or fame and money went to his head.
Anyway, he's not the actor he used to be imo.
