Blind Items Revealed #3 - Mr. Hedge

March 15, 2018

This company saw their stock tank after causing a mighty controversy.  The company somehow didn't screen out an advertisement, which made fun of a very high profile domestic violence incident involving a major celebrity.  The celebrity was understandably enraged upon learning of this - and responded by urging a boycott of the company. Others have piled on as well.

Was this simply an unlucky accident for this company?

Alternatively, was the cash-guzzling, thirsty company simply desperate for more revenues, and purposefully lax on its advertising content filters?

It could have been an entity making a short bet deliberately slipping in the ad.

When she went back to that dipshit, I officially stopped caring what happened to her.

Rhi rhi speaking out against trivializing domestic violence. I wish more celebs would use their immense power and influence for societal good in this way. As far as going back to toxic relationships. It takes women an average of 7 times to finally leave an abuser. Meaning most women go back seven times before finally breaking the bond, this can frustrate family and friends because it's almost like the victim is addicted to the abuser. Being with an abuser can have a certain amount of adrenaline and drama that a calm relationship doesn't and sometimes that can seem more exciting especially to young women who haven't quite formed a strong sense of self yet.

@Halloweenie, those are the dark side situations most people don't like to talk about. Usually the woman stays because of financial reasons or she's genuinely scared the abuser is going to murder her. But those other situations, it's sick and hell on the children.
