I still wonder if Brad is sitting on some bad stories about Angie. He is only asking for joint custody, she wants full custody. How would anyone think that is reasonable?

I still don’t think she’d be capable of doing as much as she seemingly does etc,travel and all that if true. She looks better now than in recent years... I dunno? Like to think charity... maybe real estate in foreign countries?

Renting or owning properties she spends no time in. Traveling constantly with a full complement of servants, security and "tutors" for the homeschooled brood (Ang becomes mighty crazy when she is stuck in one place for very long. If the judge in this custody case demands that the children stay in LA the majority of the time, Angie will go bonkers.) Stupid charity projects that aren't organized or overseen. Leasing private jets. "Eating" in the best restaurants.
Angie is going to lose this case. She's not going to get full custody. She has shown hostility at following court orders while Brad has followed every requirement to the letter.
Her lawyers are going to make bank, though.
@ guesser I think Brad is WAY sitting on some stories but the thing is I don't think he wants to drop them lest his kids hear/see it all. He probably is trying to secretly leverage it and yet she knows him so well she might be calling his bluff Sure he is all Hollywood and into the trappings but he also has small town roots v Angie. His family, his concern for the kids, etc, probably at the end of the day mean he would NEVER make their mom look bad and she knows it!
Maybe she and johnny depp have the same financial advisers.
I believe that Brad paid most of their bills when they were together. Her expenses included Botox, fillers, heroin, wine, and cigarettes. I also think that she gave her brother money, then she has the two women on staff who tried to convince her that she could have a viable career in politics in the UK. They each get paid $350,000/year. I don’t believe that Angie actually gives money to charity. The so-called ‘charity’ is where she gets the money to pay for the private jets, etc. Once she left Brad & fled with the kids, she was paying to rent a house for them, etc.
I have 3 theories about where the money went:
1) She doesn’t have any financial acumen, so doesn’t invest anything, just spends as she pleases. She had Brad supporting her for 12 years, and probably figured she could use Daddy Voight as a fallback.
2) Her net worth is WAY over-inflated. When did she last make a decent movie?! Girl, Interrupted? All of vanity projects which she directed lost money. So when was her last real paycheck? The Mon

3) She’s hiding money. She was planning this divorce for a long time, and could’ve stashed it away somewhere.
The interesting thing is that when she initial filed, she asked for sole custody, and no child support or spousal support. Something is fishy. How did she think she was going to support 6 kids on her own? And now she’s broke?

I think I speak for everyone here when i say we would love to see Bonkers St Angie one last time! Also she might not have much money coz movies in 90s and early 2000 didnt pay as much as they are paying now! On top of that she seems to have absolutely zero impulse control! Is that why she is doing pap shots now, coz the paps are paying her?

Ang thought she could keep the kids from Brad forever by insisting she didn't need support from him...and then taking $2 million from him for child support, free and clear without any court orders (Brad just gave it) as well as a huge loan from his production company for some new house she wanted (even though she has rentals in LA.) She thought she had it all worked out. She would demand money. Brad would give it. The kids would be all hers.
That shows a shocking amount of ignorance about money and custody.
When the courts ordered that the kids needed to see their father, Ang went berserk. She was furious and her main lawyer quit her. Ang then ran to the tabloids with the story that Brad was a dead beat. Nope, he was the opposite, in fact, by giving her money and a loan without any court orders. SHE refused to file support documents, which any good lawyer would have told her to file immediately upon breaking up, no matter what. In Ang's world of magical thinking, no support documentation means she wins the kids. Nuh-huh.
So then she files for support recently but interferes with Brads access to his kids yet again. She monitors their interactions. She demands all the kids travel with her to London. She has to be ordered by judges to have therapists on call, or traveling with, the kids at all times.
That kind of behavior is going to effect the current outcome of this custody case. So is the fact that Brad is merely asking for joint custody, something very routine, from the courts while Ang is asking for something extraordinary with full custody.
Lots of popcorn for this event. It's gonna be a doozy.
We still don't know the truth about their break-up and I doubt we ever will. Not that I'm going to lose any sleep about it.
There is a deep, dark backstory to all this that involves Brad. I have a theory about what went down but can't post it because I can get sued by both parties. All I can say is, she did not want to get married and made that fact very clear. The kids pressured them for years and she finally said yes. No pre-nup. Beyond stupid.
The kids are not toddlers. The judge may ask each one of them which parent they want to live with and go along with their wishes.
I have always cared deeply for Angelina and wish her only happiness. She has overcome so many serious emotional issues in her life. She deserves credit for turning her life around. Billy Bob was the tipping point.
Ang totally has money coming in! She has 3 Kung Fu Panda movies as Tigress, 2 Maleficent movies, Salt, Wanted, the Changeling, Beowulf, the Tourist, and By the Sea since 2007. She's definitely got money and probably still gets something from the Kung Fu Panda and Maleficent movies. She is not broke by any means and can definitely get roles. She is also a director as well (6 credits for that on IMDB).
But she is definitely horrible at managing money and probably has something else going on down low. There's definitely something shady going on and I agree that Brad is far too much the gentleman to blast her in public lest it come back on the children and his family. That said, I do wanna see her go bat shit.

Angie does not own rentals in CA. She was initially renting houses to stay at, when she fled with the kids. She actually rented from 2 of our favorite people: Bryan Singer & Denise Richardson. Her goal was always to take the 6 kids and move to London, but Brad’s lawyers put a stop to that. Knowing that she needed to stay in CA, she bought a house, not just any house but the DeMille house, which I believe cost $25 million (so predictable, Angie.)
She wanted to take the kids to London for 4 months, while she filmed Mal2, and Brad said no. That’s when the judge accused her of Parental Alienation. They put together a summer schedule which mostly required Brad to fly back & forth to see the kids. The therapists were there to help with reunification, because she had so badly alienated the kids from Brad. (Many people think that the therapists were there to babysit Brad, but that’s absolutely not true.)
I do think that she thought that a) Brad wouldn’t fight her, b) he wouldn’t get the public support that he did, and c) she would somehow continue to live off the Bank of Brad,

@Boo, totally disagree with your opinion about Angie. She is a nasty piece of work. For someone who talks so much about her daughter, I would think you would have much more insight into parent/child relationships. Angie has been called out by the judge and accused of Parental Alienation. This is a form of CHILD ABUSE. Yet you’re defending her?
If you have been following the case, you’d know that at this point, that only Maddox is allowed to decide who he wants to spend time with, due to his age. You would also know that there is a psychologist who has been involved in the case for over a year and is interviewing every child, every caregiver, every bodyguard, etc., and will be providing a report/recommendation to the the judge regarding custody. A ten-year old cannot decide who they want to live with.
As far as the marriage, Brad did NOT want to get married. But Angelina had a jeweler make her an engagement ring, and then told the world that they were engaged. After their fake wedding photo-op in France, Brad got on the next plane out of there.
And yeah, I’m really sure that both Angelina & Brad are going to sue you.
Feel bad for Brad. Probably all he wanted was to have a wholesome family and he got this.

I don't think Ang and Brad had been together, in the relationship sense, a long time before that fateful plane ride. Brad probably noped out quite a while ago. Angie then assumed he would leave the kids behind with her and send checks whenever she demanded. Brad woke up out of his pot/alcohol haze, by judicial order, and found the balls to say hell no and fight for his paternal rights.

Overrated as an actress, a case of the Madonnas with her accent, fake Princess Di persona and some of the most pretentious interviews I’ve ever read (“as artists we raise our children X, Y, ..”, “Shiloh has Montenegro style” “I had the flu and a fever and locked myself in my attic in our chateau and I wrote a screenplay in a weekend!”).
