14 hours, jetlagged in Paris. I'm still mad at myself for wasting so much time.

17 hours after being awake for almost 72 straight. I thought I was going to die, hallucinations like crazy.

I once came home at lunch time, slept around 2 pm and woke up next morning at 4:30, the first 2-3 minutes were really confusing!

About 18 hrs after having a 48 hr coke-fueled, sex romp with Helen Mirren

24 hours +-. Depression plus boredom is fun.

@Lurky, get up man! You are still asleep!

I'm sure fellow migraine sufferers relate! haha 15+ hours sleeping off a migraine.

When I got my wisdom teeth removed the tension triggered one that lasted 48+ hours where I would only wake up to drink a bit of water then be right back out from the pain.

Helen Mirren as Cleopatra, 1965. Wouldn't have guessed it was her!

Poor thing! That sounds so awful. ❤️

I stayed up 44 hours before I broke and then slept for 14 hours. It was trippy.

Does it count if you get up to pee? Last winter, horrible case of bronchitis. Slept for 3 days but did wake up occasionally to take antibiotics/drink water/pee. But was sleeping for 8-10 hour stretches, waking up for 5 minutes, and going right back to sleep.

@Boo what a story! I can't imagine how difficult it was to see those things firsthand <3 I have some family that served overseas quite a bit & they are the toughest people I know but still won't talk about some things that they saw there.

Ophelia: The Hurt Locker told the story best. When Jeremy Renner came back home he couldn't cope, so he went back to the war front.

Men and women who served don't talk about these dreadful experiences because they realize the average Meg and Joe can't relate. That is why PTSD is epidemic and why people are going over the edge mentally and committing all these horrible crimes.

If the US ever has to reinstate the Draft, we're royally f-----! Without their Iphones these kids and young adults are lost. I see it every day with the security guards downstairs. A 30 yr old father of 4 said to me last month, "Chelsea died of ammonia." A HS grad! He didn't know the word pneumonia. But he can give you every Basketball score for this season. Lord help us.

14 hours. When I finished an early shift and had night shift the next day. When I worked early shifts I would survive on three hours sleep as was worried I would over sleep.

12 hours. I'd been up for 48 before that, doing what I thought was important at the time.

I would also have small sessions of being able to hear whats going on around me Like the roomates or the tv but was in a zombified state . almost like a lucid dream state ..very odd senation

Just the other day. Slept from about 10a to 1:30a. Tried to get up during that stretch but was sooo groggy. Fell asleep again at 8a and slept until 4:30p. Woke refreshed and ready for work. I think I was fighting a virus.

On the way home with a group from the Jewish Community Center, at the world's fair from Knoxville. I was the only one who couldn't sleep on the way back to Louisville. We left Knoxville at about 11 pm, got back to Louisville about 6. When I finally got home, it was 7:30. Went to my room and slept to 8:30pm.

Amateurs. 62 hours. Went to sleep when I got home from work on Friday at 5pm and woke up for work at 7am Monday morning.

I work third shift so my sleep schedule is all messed up anyway. I think the longest I've slept was from 8AM until 9PM. I've been on third shift for 7 years and my body still hasn't adjusted to it.
