Blackadder is one of my favorite series of all time.<BR/><BR/>For the record- the first series was The Black Adder, (two words, set in the late Middle Ages), then his name consolidated for the next series set a few centuries later (set in Elizabethan times). Hugh Laurie popped up at the end of the second series (in the finale) and was a regular in Blackadder the Third and Blackadder Goes Forth.<BR/><BR/>For what it's worth, and I'm sure no one else cares, but I'm currently watching Hugh Laurie's last British TV series before becoming DOCTOR (Mr.? Please) House. It's called Fortysomething. I'm not sure I love it, but it's not terrible either. It's no Blackadder, and its not Jeeves & Wooster either.<BR/><BR/>In any case, he doesn't fit the clue. House has been on since 2004, Is that really "long running"? As for dramas, I think "Law and Order" is the longest current network drama (since 1990). And SVU has been on since 1999. ER has been on since 1994. In comparison, CSI has only been on since 2000. Though, in the end, I have to side with you guys on these ones because I don't watch any of those shows.<BR/><BR/>Question: so someone can be A list only for tv?
