Far be it from me to defend Kate Moss, but she doesn't merely model; she also has a deal with TopShop worth a fortune, as well as her own clothing line, and is very, very savvy about business matters. If memory serves, she's got her own perfume (or more than one, perhaps), too. That money doesn't all come from modeling, and as a matter of fact, when you figure in all the endorsements, I daresay that modeling makes up the smallest part of her income.

Yup, the wine alone could have racked that bill up. I heard that Thailand is pretty cheap for the regular travellers but they DO have luxury resorts. 45K for a dinner - sure! They put gold in all sorts of meals these days. Why? Because they CAN.
