This is totally Aniston & Cox-Arquette. And it's NOT the first time they've had a falling out. Last year they also had a major "break up" while Aniston was in Oregon filming the moving she's taking to the Toronto Film Festival to find a distributor for - "Management". CCA had told Aniston,who was bored stiff while away from LA and who can't entertain herself without the aid of cannibis, that she MIGHT bring Coco to Oregon for a week or so to visit while Aniston shot her movie. Well, guess what? CCA never made it to Oregon - mainly becase DA said he was sick of CCA being at Aniston's post-divorce beck-and-call and that it was time to cut the apron strings and let poor, old Jenny fend for herself for a change and stop squeezing the life out HIS marriage just because she'd finally managed to run Brad off.

After Aniston wrapped Management she was in LA for about a month before she finally gave in and apologized to CCA for being a thoughtless, self-absorbed twit. That lasted about 6 weeks. Then the Arquettes went on vacation to Hawaii. Three guesses as to who tagged along. Then later in the year the Arquettes went to Mexico. And guess who tagged along. Notice those weren't questions, but statements.

For the first couple of years after Friends went off the air, I think there were plenty of people who would have gone to see a movie just because JA was in it, but now, not so much.

I was just thinking about the A/B list thing, because I think a lot of us are confused.

I think that the designation A-List means that there has to be a certain amount of popularity AND critical recognition the star still CURRENTLY enjoys -- s/he can't just be the subject of tabloid fodder. That would mean that, say, Jessica Simpson is A-List, since she's featured in or on nearly every single shitty tabloid at least once a week.

Enty said once that mega award-winners are automatically A-listers, which would mean that Meryl Streep is probably perma A++. Ditto Jodie Foster. Aniston did win an Emmy or two for her role as Rachel, but that was close to a decade ago. And Emmys definitely don't carry the same clout as Oscars.

Is Kirstie Alley still television A-list because she won a bunch of Emmy's for playing Rebecca Howe -- even though Cheers went off the air in 1992 or something? I would call her movie status C-list, because the Look Who's Talking series was shat upon by nearly every critic. Does that average into a solid B designation, even though nearly EVERYBODY knows exactly who she is?

I think that time plays a factor in this. That's all I'm trying to say. Cox's show just got cancelled, and some movie with Owen Wilson that revolves around a dog sure as shit ain't gonna win Aniston an Oscar. I say they're B-list right now.

Oh, and that Will Smith story is JUST sordid and detailed enough to make it completely believable. And that truly IS some fucked-up shit. A anal fissure? No thanks! Wow.

I read your story about the closeted actor who raped a former boyfriend. All of the names listed were wrong, it was actually Will Smith. You and Page 6 were wrong about some of the other details as well. The former boyfriend did report Will to the Lost Hills Sherrifs Department. The payoff was done to keep him from pressing charges. The charges were indeed dropped. The former boyfriend also needed surgery because his anus had a small split called a fisure after the incident.

To set the record straight, it wasn't rape, it was more of rough play that the two played on many occasions. It got out of hand and Will didn't stop. He's not a rapist but he and his wife both live a life filled with lies. They don't have sex with each other or in thier home. They live in Hidden Hills but they have a seperate home in nearby Agoura Hills just for sex with others. If this world were more accepting of gay people, I think Will and Jada would be living happy, honest lives with other people. On a final note, I was one of Will's boyfriends for a while. I think we all get a max of 4 months and then he moves on.

Sure, the first thought that comes up would be Jen and Courtney, but there's no way that Aniston is only B list with regard to television. She was A-List forever and her rank can't have plummeted for television just because she hasn't been on it recently. Also, despite her films being critical flops, I still think that she is likely viewed as more than simply B list with regard to film. Gotta be B+ at the very least, right?

Of course, you're likely all correct, the choices here are limited. I think my main contention is simply that the rank feels off.
