Sean Penn and Robin Wright for 2. He has some anger management issues for sure, and it was very apparent when he married Madonna years ago.

Selma Hayek has been seen gaining weight, but I would not consider her to be B list. I would think this is about Jessica Biel, she was looking mighty bad in Paris lately, very pale and drawn.#3

You're right, she does have to have some money coming in, that's true.
I guess I just always think that just because someone's got an income, it doesn't mean that their outgo does not exceed it and they don't have the savings to cover it. (IMO, that's gotta have something to do with what moves the SJPs of the world hawk the low end hair color like Garnier.)

I guess I didn't consider "Failure To Launch" or that other awful thing SJP was in to be great, but even if I granted that they were oscar worthy, the BI only list "aging cable star" and "very rich husband". She is most *definitely* aging (ain't we all), her "star" is on HBO and she's not only a "oh yeah, I remember her", in some areas, she's "who the hell is Carrie Bradshaw?" Re: MB's sexuality; I don't know for sure whether the guy is gay or not, but the women-at least of my generation-the ones who were the right age during Ferris Bueller, do loooooove the little boy. Boys might love it too, and he might love em back, or both of them. He was with some hotties in his younger days and if he was only using them as a beard, you'd think one of them would have spoken up.
He has *way* more money than she does, and there have been multiple rumors of his cheating in the past.

Funny how often Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick turn up for blind item guesses. No way it's them for BI's this week.

"Sex and the City" only went off the air three years ago, she's still doing advertisements and just got name-checked on "Ugly Betty" as a fashion icon. Plus, someone commented here that she "hasn't done squat" since "SATC" ceased. They must not watch movies: "Failure to Launch" was a hit, "The Family Stone" was a modest hit, both did well on DVD, plus she has a couple movies in the pipeline.

As for Broderick, he probably was wealthy when they married but SO rich that someone would marry him just for his bucks? Nah. And as for the other blind item, unless he's seriously pulled the wool over everyone's eyes, in no universe is Matthew Broderick a "bad boy."

A List star means how bankeable as person is. Anyone that's currently getting hired for big name movies with regular work is bankeable.

An A List celebrity I would assume means they mingle amongst the A-List and attend high-profile events and/or are presumably at the top of the tree for newsworthiness. Think, sadly, Lindsay Lohan, Paris etc, who while they may not be the best most bankeable actresses around, are still the most newsworthy ones.

That would be my interpretaion of this.

For me, when I think A list 'celeb(not actor)', I think of how easy they could get into a club or red velvet rope event. Like, what their wait time is at Hyde etc. Are they ushered in past the line or able to enter the back door? Do they have to explain to the staff who they are? C list Do they have to beg, call their inside friends, or get "Tara"? D list
