I like Sarah Jessica Parker. She's a great fucking actress, for one thing. She entertains. She's emotional. She's smart. She's charming. She seems like a doting mother and a fairly nice human being. And, yes, her husband is gayer than Christmas, but that's not HER fault, and I'm also not gonna hate on a woman who dared to keep her natural appearance in an industry full of carved, sucked-out, injected, pneumatic women desperate to appear like SOMETHING youthful -- even if the end result looks more like a Crank Yankers puppet than a well-preserved older woman. I'm really thinking of Lisa Rinna, for some reason. She grosses me out.

And I'm NOT a closeted SATC fan; I'm an enthusiastic SATC fan, because, whatever, that shit is still good. Much like The Golden Girls, The Cosby Show, and other fairly-recent classic syndicated sitcoms are still good. God, give me ANY of those shows over stupid Two and Half Men aaaaanyday!

I think SJP was coming off a high drama relationship with RDJ and wanted to be with someone bland and safe. I think they had an arrangement with lots of freedom to see other people (don't know if he is gay or not). I think she got lonely and wanted more.
