This man...<BR/><BR/>He is firmly convinced that he is the only reason Star Trek became a hit. Not the writing, not the cheesy special effects, not MISTER SPOCK for God's sake, but him and him alone. He even tried to turn what should have been an ensemble drama featuring one slightly more prominent character into the William Shatner Show: All Kirk, all the time. He partly succeeded, unfortunately for the actors who weren't members of the Big Three.<BR/><BR/>It especially killed him that Nimoy's character was more popular than his, and was beloved by more of the fans than his.
