As usual when solving vices we are all hung up on the A B C D list puzzle. None of that is relative, and I'm pretty sure Enty throws it in to confound us. (I do love you Enty) The impression I get from the blind is that the husband is a known slamhound and the actresss is publicly a good girl.

The important thing to focus on is which actress would cheat but not divorce her husband and why? It makes sense then that the actress NEEDS the publicity of her marriage to propel her career and the moral safety of a public marriage. Remember that Witherspoon put up with her ex for years because she wanted to maintain her image and only when he was caught publicly cheating could she bow out gracefully with everyone on her side.

So.

That leaves SJP out.(who wouldn't recover from dumping Broderick?)

J Alba would certainly recover publicly from dumping Warren.

As for Douglas and CZJ? Who would care? Their whole thing is creepy anyway. Although she does need the Douglas name for her career.

My guess is Garner and Affleck.
He's a known cheater. She is publicly an angel.

However Garner has cheated on all her boyfriends and ex husband and the publicity from a Affleck/Garner break up would be huge. PLUS Garner needs the mini van majority behind her as they are her core cinema audience. There were rumours circulating months ago that they would bust and then she "accidently" announced her pregnancy. I'm still amazed anyone is sucked in by that spider. Garner's career would most definately suffer if her true personality and behaviour came to light.

As for the producer, it is hard to find out divorces and so on for lesser known producers. Can anyone tell me if Marcus Viscidi is divorcing?

(Jerry Weintraub got married again last year. Ryan Kavanaugh divorced ages ago....almost everyone else is gay.LOL)

I thought it could have been Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban at first. People expect him to cheat because of his past, and him to be scared of her because of her rep as an ice queen and a bitch.
I would call her B+ list atm, because while she has been in a lot of films, it was a while ago that she won her Oscar, and her films don't do great. Plus, Australia is just being released. And it would be a massive scandal if she had an affair on the set of Australia, because she fell pregnant during the filming.

All of that being said, I am leaning towards the SJP & MB guess just because I can't see Kidman cheating. Even though it was rumoured that she cheated with Ewan MacGregor on the set of Moulin Rouge and that's why Tommy Boy cut her contract short.

I WISH I could get away from all the advertising for Four Christmases, including a 15-story poster for the damned thing; it's not possible to escape all the promotion for it here in NYC. It's on bus stops, buses, and that building on 23rd and Park (and neither Reese nor Vince Vaughn's face is recognizable; I had to laugh the first time I saw it, because I didn't know what it was for at the time, but then the onslaught started, and now I can't get away from it!).

Oops...let me elaborate on the Witherspoon/Jolie tie for highest paid actress. The cut-off date on that was June 1, 2007. At the time both Jolie & Witherspoon were commanding in the $15MIL range, with an outside shot at $30MIL. Since then "Rendition" bombed at the BO, as did AMH. However, this year Jolie had 3 movies that cumed over $1BIL at the BO, whereas Witherspoon hasn't had a movie open all year. She's got "Four Christmases" coming out in a week or so with Vince Vaughn. I've barely seen an ads for that movie anywhere - either online or on tv.

As I stated in a previous post, Witherspoon got around $15MIL for Four Christmases. With Rendition bombing her future salary is going to be partially determined by the success of Four Christmases. If that movie underperforms, and Witherspoon's days at playing airhead blonds like "Legally Blond" dwindling, studios are NOT going to continue paying her $15MIL per flick for mediocre BO returns. Just ask Nicole Kidman and Cameron Diaz.

Sorry, but Jolie is. She and Witherspoon tied in 2007. Witherspoon did "Four Christmases" for around $15MIL, but that's the only movie she's made in the last year. Meanwhile Jolie got $17.5MIL for "Wanted" and around $15MIL for "Changeling." Word has it she's getting $20MIL for "Salt" plus a possible BO percentage backend, which actresses hardly ever get. Cameron Diaz got a percentage of the BO on Shrek 3 in lieu of a set salary and walked away with around $30MIL. On the other hand Jolie would be stupid to take only a BO percentage deal on Salt. With a guaranteed $20MIL she gets that whether the movie does huge box office or not and with all the charities she funds, 1/3 of $20MIL will go a hell of a long way - especially since she's "scary smart" (per the NY Times) and doesn't have agents and publicists sucking up 25% of her salary!

When the hell would they have time? They're constantly together or with their kids. People who've seen them in private - away from cameras - have noted they can't keep their hands off each other. Brad has always been monogomous, despite rumors of an affair with Jolie on the M&MS, he didn't cheat on his fug Mrs. And for all Jolie's foibles, she's monogomous when in a committed relationship - which she is with Pitt.

i'm with ecfan. some of the suggestions don't fit at all because of the description of the actress. alba B+ with A name recognition?? no WAY. courtney cox isn't B+ either and no way eva longoria fits.

demi and ashton would be a shocker. so would czj and michael douglas (although i think she's A list so it's probably not her). melanie griffith and banderas would be a hoot. i'd laugh my ass off if it's them.

and leave brad and angelina alone. they don't fit.
