From the AP wire: "Patricia Arquette dismisses divorce case"

LOS ANGELES – Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane will remain married.

Court records show the "Medium" star requested and was granted a dismissal of the couple's divorce case, which she filed in January.

The one-page dismissal didn't indicate a reason for the 41-year-old actress seeking a dismissal. Records show her request was filed on Tuesday and approved on Thursday.

I say Gellar and Prinze. Maybe she got emotional and believed it because she is pregnant. And they seem like they will stand the test of time. Both are level headed, really love each other, seem realistic about making a relationship work, and lasted longer than any of their I Know What You Did Last Summer/90's Wave of Teen Movie peers. He is currently filming "24". Could D list be Cuthbert?

I know I don't post often at all (if ever), but I think Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy are more realistic than PJ & KG, because Elizabeth Reaser comes out at me pretty quickly. I know I'm a Greys fan, but she had a pretty big part in Alex's story-line for nearly a season and a half. And the film "Sweet Land" had some critical acclaim, I think. I'd say she's a little more C-list?

I'm with the Kevin Bacon voters. The only argument against him seems to be the B/C rating. I'm a great admirer of his acting ability but realistically I have to go back six years, to Mystic River, before I see anything recognizable on his credits. He appears to have settled into a pattern of support in A pictures and leads in B pictures. His name recognition is certainly A (Six Degrees...) but B is a fair description of his current box office clout. I also recall reading that his wife was a friend of SJParker, so that fits as well.

I'm dubious of the Cox/Arquette guesses for the simple reason that I don't know anyone who doesn't think they are a high risk coupling. The item implies everyone would be surprised if the couple divorced but frankly I think people would be more surprised if Cox/Arquette didn't divorce.

I will concede that William Macy also fits the description and presumably most of the other Desperate Housewives cast could qualify as pap savvy friends. My only reason for going with Bacon over Macy is sex appeal. If you're a D list actress I presume it it better publicity, and makes you look more desirable, to have seduced the still sexy Bacon rather than the talented but sexless Macy.

Not to be too pedantic, but I would think B-/B+ = ...

Elsa Pataky is dating Adrien Brody. But in May she decided she was bored and ran off to LA to sleep with Laker Pao Gasol. Then she was spotted in France tooling around on the back Oliver Martinez's motorcycle. Then she went back to Adrien. (And he took her?!!) If this is true about TJ, she's a lot more pathetic than I realized. But she hasn't been getting parts since dating Brody, so maybe now she's desperate and playing by the Paris Hilton/Lohan handbook.
