Kara is THE worst... she revealed herself to be more interested in self-promotion than the competitors or the show (Simon's genius is that he knows his star rises with the show's continued success). Sadly, I wasted time watching her try to compete with that Bikini Crazed Nightmare. She also reached a new low for reality judges in her final performance when she ripped open her dress (impressive stomach notwithstanding). PATHETIC.

Ms. Abdul - can take or leave her but don't think her presence or lack thereof will affect the ratings one iota.

Randy - Dawg Talk Be Damned - brings great energy and WOW track record credentials to the show.

What other women judges??? For controversy, what about Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks? Even in this post-Bush era, that would likely not fly in the South. Who else???

I don;t watch AI, but Paula is absolutely on SOMEthing.

I also caught a couple of partial SYTYCDance episodes and that Mary lady sounded half-crocked half of the time, too.

Personally, I would have put the squeeze on worthless Randy over Paula, but factoring in the likely backstage histrionics Paula brings, I understand where the producers are coming from. She reeled in the crazy last season in the face of Kara, but b4 that, the woman was a trainwreck who was derailing b4 our eyes.

I had the same thoughts when I read the articles out there today. When I watch AI, it's definitely not because of Paula. Sure, she brings an entirely different element than the other folks but usually is so uncomfortable to watch or rambling so much that I fast forward through whatever she has to say. To me, Kara is too much like Randy, which makes what they have to say less relevant because they usually just repeat each other. It's nice to have three judges that each have their own variety, but Kara as #3 just doesn't do it. They just need to find a more coherent female who has a perspective different from the other two male judges. Let's see, what other former female singers/performers are out there that might be a good replacement?
