Here's the "stranger than truth" thing. If you watch the first episode of the first season of the BBC series "Extras", which for those that don't know, is the series that Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant went on to create after their successful series, "The Office", finished its 2 season run on the BBC, the guest star in the first episode is none other than Ben Stiller. In it, Ben plays himself, (as all of the guest stars do, throughout the series), and the plot is that he's in England to direct a Balkan War movie, on which the character played by Ricky, "Andy", is an extra. The climax of the episode is an argument between Ben and "Andy", where Ben comes off as a pretentious ass. It's always amazing to me that actors will choose to play characters that are so close to what they really are, like that. At least it seems that way in hindsight now. Do they suppose we'll think, "Oh well he's so good playing an ass, he must be a really nice guy.."?

BTW, if you're a fan of the show, then you need to watch Episode 3, and check out Kate Winslet's guest star stint. If she's got that great of sense of humor for real, then I love her even more..

Crohn's is autoimmune. It leaves you with scar tissue in your intestines. If it gets really bad, you have tons of nausea, abdominal pain, and vomiting.

I'm okay right now, but it's something that goes in and out of remission. I am doing much better than I was, for sure!

Oh! I wanted to mention about hunger-- I have Crohn's, and was VERY bad off from last October until April. Not being able to eat, always nauseated, etc. I am 5'7" and was down to 98 pounds. I will say, from recent personal experience, that hunger ABSOLUTELY screws your brain up. You act like a reactionary freak about everything. Temper tantrums, crying, overreacting, everything. Something in your brain just totally snaps. It's strange because it's so primal and uncontrollable. You can even see yourself acting crazy, but you can't stop.

Ben Stiller used to be a crush of mine. Even is he were a nice guy, he is WAY WAY too skinny, nasty and unhealthy to be attractive to me anymore.
