Back in the day, for me it was Dynasty.
We used to have Dynasty parties for the season premieres, and God help anyone who interrupted those Wednesday nights.
My mother's shows were "Days Of Our Lives", "The Doctors" and "General Hospital"... on road trips, we absolutely *had* to be in a hotel room when those shows came on or there was hell to pay after my mother got off the phone with her sister long distance to find out what happened.

I"m surprised no one has mentioned the Love Boat, LOL. I loved that show along with Knots landing !!!
Then in the 90's definitely Melrose (would never miss it), loved SATC and later on King of Queens (one of my all time faves)...
General Hospital during the Brenda/Sonny/Jax era...omg I was addicted. This is so hard to pick one!! Nothing really grabs me now.

I was in school in the 90s (got a late start) and didn't watch much TV other than kid shows with my daughter.

Now: I'm a Survivor junkie. Otherwise its all history channel and true crime shows.

Erm, hello out there! I don't comment very often, but just thinking about this question made me realize what a predictable horror geek I am. I mean, I sort of knew, but looking back the only shows I COULD NOT MISS have been American Gothic, X-Files, Buffy, Angel and Supernatural.

Oh, except for that year when I thought Sliders and Seaquest: DSV were the most awesome shows ever, so I'm a sci-fi geek too. Where do I get my badge??
