I worked 45 hours a week (you don't get paid for your lunch hour) doing everything from mopping up baby pee in the kids section, hauling huge boxes of books around, dealing with cum-stuck nude books in the bathroom, etc, for $300 a week. I wanted to cry, but luckily I had some awesome co-workers, also in similar situations, which made it easier to deal with the "oh it's midnight but you can't go home yet, you need to help mop floors in the cafe" proclamations of the smarmy managers. This at age 48 with 3 kids, including one in college, who got there on his smarts, has a 2/3 tuition scholarship, but we still have to come up with 20 grand a year.<BR/><BR/>The day I got a professional job again I thanked God and thought about all the folks who don't have my skills or options, and who are forever stuck in those $300 a week jobs. Reading about talentless stupid cunts (I rarely use that term) like this inspires me to similar heights of rage.<BR/><BR/>"People who are the scum of the Earth" indeed.
