Is it of any relevance to her case? Is it anyone's business but theirs if they were already a couple before Lindsay went to rehab? If I were her, I'd refuse to answer any of those personal questions. They can ask her about the drugs and her dealers, because drug dealing is a crime. Sam sues for defamation. Sam loses. She's now suing the lawyers and Lindsay wants anything she said kept a secret.<BR/><BR/>So assuming that is a correct synopsis...bloggers say crazy things all the time. It's typically really hard for celebs to prove defamation because SO MUCH shit is talked about them, it's hard to prove any one comment, true or not, is that damaging in a big sea of gossipy bullshit. I suspect that what Perez said miiiiiiiight have hit a little too close to home and maybe Lindsay got really pissed about it. So Sam sued to prove that it "wasn't true." Then she lost and I don't know if she is trying to prove a point to Lindsay still or if she's just completely unaware of the fact that Johnnie Cochran could resurrect himself and take it on, it still would have been a totally unwinnable case. Maybe some of both.<BR/><BR/>I am guessing Lindsay just doesn't want her depo to get out b/c when people print rumors it's one thing and you can always play it off as your typical fake gossip but when you have an actual deposition and you've actually done all the shit people say you do, plus some other stuff we may not have heard about, you may truly be screwed. What if she did something else illegal that night, she could be in big trouble? Who knows.
