Has anyone read the book <I>Hefnerland</I> by Jill Ann Spaulding? This is a woman who was trying to get into the magazine and somehow talked her way into a weekend at the mansion. She gives details of the Weds and Fri night "afterparties" with Hef. It seems these girls get a weekly allowance from him, ranging from $2000 to $10000. Kendra wasn't a girlfriend at the time she was doing this, but Bridget was, so it would seem Kendra asking $5K could be spot on. For anyone interested, the book is available online. You should be able to google <I>Hefnerland</I> and find a link to the online book at the E! boards.
