And while I wouldn't think Gerard Butler has any trouble getting laid, this gift card thing basically does most of the work for him. He's already got the visual of the lady and the concierge company probably sends him reports with names, addresses and phone numbers if she takes him up on his offer. If he caps a gift at $100, that's cheaper than an escort {err, so I've heard} and almost as sure a thing.

I met about 15-20 members of a three of his fan clubs at the Toronto International Film Festival four/five years ago while standing in line for a flick. All were nice women (in their 40's). Weird thing was that when speaking to them individually, they would very discreetly bashed the other fan clubs. They all communicated online and this was the first time they had met in person - at TIFF. And each group thought their site & fan club was the best. It was hilarious. Especially since I didn't really know who he was at the time. They all had photos of themselves with Gerard and lots of stories about how he recognized them at various events and would make a point of going over to speak with them. Personally, I now think he's a douche, but at least he is kind and generous to his fans.

I think Ent said that Gerard would be an answer to a blind, and I was hoping it wouldn't be the one about the drunk at the table reading (who I'm guessing now is George Clooney), or the blind about some actor being gay (there's so many of those I can't keep 'em straight) so this reveal about him passing out cards, not asking for phone numbers, not screwing them in an alley, not grabbing their asses, just passing out a card is a good blind reveal for me. Love Gerard Butler.
