I like the thought bassgirl, but two things: Ugly Betty is not a drama, and as it's only its second year, Mabius doesn't qualify as B-List even for TV yet.

I travel a lot for work, and randomly I was stuck at LAX (trying to get to DC) due to multiple flight delays. I spent much of the 10 hours sitting at the bar, and at one point Eric Mabius unexpectedly sat down next to me. I had seen him earlier waiting at the gate for a New Orleans flight so I guess that flight was delayed too. I had noticed him before because he was changing his shirt (bare chested) right at the gate yet I was the only one who seemed to notice...

He was short - only about my height (5'9) and had a really large head (size wize). I briefly talked to him as you normally do with strangers sitting at an airport bar but he was boring and a bit queeny (I made no indication I had any idea who he was). I gave up after 2 minutes.

Then he moved when a seat at a table opened up. One of the guys he sat with said he looked familiar and he looked annoyed that they didn't know who he was after he said he was on TV.

That night I also saw Chris Meloni and J. Peterman from Seinfeld (forget his real name). Side of effect of sitting at an LAX bar for 10 hours I guess (I also was pretty waster by the end of the night - when the flight was finally canceled...)

I do have guess for the blind, but all these mentions of Vince Carter make me about when he first came into the league-little off-topic from the blind (sorry for the length-had a little more to say that I 1st thought):

I was a HUGE Rockets fan in the 90s (yes, before the championships, WAY before) Anyway, anyone remember how huge Vince was when he started playing in the NBA (with Toronto Raptors, I believe?), & how EVERY SINGLE TIME Tracy McGrady's name was mentioned, it was followed by (or preceeded by the fact that he is Vince Carter's cousin-the poor guy didn't have an identity of his own. Love that McGrady is now the bigger star, & leading the team I'm learning to love again b/c guys are starting to stick around. Funny how you rarely hear Carter's name anymore, at least not like before, or compared to Tracy.

[An aside: I'm 30, & have been an Oiler/Rocket/Astro fan for my entire life, but my faith was shaken in 2 of those teams during the traumatic-late 90s:

It was during that time that we saw our beloved Oilers (Luv Ya Blue!) moved to Tennessee (thanks Bud!) & since I was cut after making it the semi-finals in Texans Cheerleaders tryouts-& forced to watch girls w/ bigger boobs, & much less dance ability advance, I've refused to watch the Texans play;

Stopped watching the Rockets b/c there was zero team-loyalty after the morons traded Olajuwon to the Raptors & we had a totally different team every season.

I've boycotted pro football & basketball since that time & have been a one-sports woman (GO 'STROS!) (with 2 of the original Killer B's retiring & a wanna-be Killer B (B-asmus) no longer 'Stro, that, & the flurry of trades (I'm never going to forgive them for trading my Willy T or Bruntlett, Lidge too-but he needed a change of venue to get back to his old self, obviously-SO proud of him & Eric!!) we're starting to look a little different, but I'm sticking by 'em no matter what. Through an unbelieveable twist of fate, my family bought mini-season tickets in '05 (for the 1st, & probably last, time in our lives), & I had enough $ to take the option to purchase play-off tickets if we went, I was at every single home game during the play-offs (inclu the longest game in MLB post-season MLB history v. Braves (18 innings), it was almost 6 hrs long, (& we got there 3 hrs early!), & was at the 2 games played here during the first World Series in Texas (which included another record-setting game (14 innings)[I even made it on tv several times b/c of my custom-made cowboy hat w/ a bee ("Killer B") on top.]. :D

Went off on a few tangents there, sorry 'bout that. That said, I'm gonna guess Kobe Bryant, simply b/c he's in L.A. (more likely to be around actors than say, LeBron James out in Cleveland) & scandal-prone.
