Okay, on second thought I think I'm jumping on the Jamie-Lynn Spears train. Like I said, 'monogamy' is an odd word for a teenage relationship and I was initially thinking "religious?" But it is a word you use for married people or for a couple with kids of their own. 'We' caring about a non-famous boyfriend's infidelity makes sense in this case.

A tWeen is someone from the ages of 10-12 - not quite a kid anymore, not yet a full blown teenager. So I agree that 'tweener star' simply refers to someone who is a star among the tween set, none of the kid celebs today are in the tween age group. The boyfriend may or may not be famous, that one was left fairly open. The fact that we would even think they were monogamous though leads me to think that the guy is also famous (b/c if he wasn't, who would care about their monogamy?)

That said I don't know who it is and I don't think I care. I'm leaning towards one of the Jonas Bros. just b/c of the use of the word monogamous. That is a bit of an odd word to use for some teenagers.

No. Tweener just refers to someone who is a teenager, not a celebrity. Notice how he referred to the female as "female tweener star," instead of just female tweener. So I think she's famous and he may/may not be.
