hey douche bag who left the fatty comment, shut the hell up! that said, i agree with most of you that phelps has really shown his true colors as a two dimensional guy who swims, eats a fuck load of food, and plays video games the rest of the time. i am so sick of seeing him on various websites drunkly chasing skirts and grabing asses. i just think while jared may have gotten thin for various reasons he has inspired kids to lose weight, and thats what is important. how the hell is a hole phelps going to inspire the overweight kids who cant relate to him in the first place?

Every great ad campaign must come to an end. Jared was great and Subway hung onto to him for a long time, but after all these years, it wasn't generating the kind of excitement needed anymore. I doubt the parting was messy. I don't think that Michael Phelps is the right choice for a replacement, but you can't criticize Subway for trying something new.
