Perhaps on holiday or filming a movie somewhere?<BR/><BR/>As for the plus-size issue: not many men would fit in regular womens clothing. Hips too big, chest too deep and shoulders too broad. They would need larger clothing to accomodate this. The A-lister is not necessarily fat.<BR/><BR/>The cross dressing may not be a fetish thing either. It could be a method actor preparing for a movie. That would be another explanation as to why they didnt want their picture taken (stars cant often talk about films before going into production). <BR/><BR/>Regarding some of the guesses, Rupert Everett, although a Brit, is nowhere close to A-List and neither is Vin Diesle.And I really dont think its Travolta. Its a bit too obvious. This BI is a bandmember not a solo act. Most solo artists travel with musicians that accompany them while on tour but that doesnt count. This could NOT be Amy winehouse or Joss Stone. The BI also implies that the lead singer of this band is the most popular member of this band(as is the case with most female fronted bands). I also consider bands to be a group of musicians who play instruments, plus a singer. I would consider anything else to be a group, rather than a band. Ie, PCD (they dont play instruments) so I doubt it would be them.<BR/>Lets also assume that if the band was playing on a talk show they have something they want to promote, like a new album or single. BEP do not have a new album or single and Fergie is promoting the track Glamorous at the moment so she would be performing alone and would not be denied her own dressing room. <BR/><BR/>For me, this BI is pretty much narrowed down to Amy Lee from Evanescence as they are currently promoting their new album and singles and have been performing on TV. In the US, a size 16 starts the plus size range. In the UK, it is an American 12 that starts plus size. On the continent, it is an American 10. So if the guy was looking in a plus size shop in, say, Italy or France, he would only have to fill out a US 10. And Fergie's bandmates were a very successful band as the Black Eyed Peas pre-Fergie.
