For those of us who live from paycheck to paycheck and pray that we don't have any emergencies that will break us, yes we do dream about living in a house with a throne in it, and having no worries other than how we can keep ourselves famous.

Also, celebrity culture has its down side, but it is a way of bringing us all together. If you meet someone from across the country, you can always talk to them about Britney. It's nice to have a common reference for something other than the latest brutal murder or shooting spree in the headlines.
