ReplyDeleteStupid question I'm sure but are there posts/comments missing or maybe edited from the last couple of days? I'm reading back and I see there's a big to do (again!) & I only see one or two posts dissing/contradicting Hez that she was complaining about a couple of posts before this one. Am I missing all the good cat fights/gossip? I saw the one recently where someone ?pretended? to be her I guess, but I'm not getting all the hatred or seeing any stalkers. Or is it just for anons in general? Just asking. GAC

ReplyDeleteGAC, posts don't get removed from these boards very often. Almost never. Contradicting is never the issue, certainly not for me.
ReplyDeleteIn general, there's kind of a non-Ent-erference policy, so just keep digging and you'll find 'em all.
It usually comes accompanied by comments about how "fake" this site is, followed by snotty comments about the fact that there's "no Santa". Patronizing in the extreme.
And I'm definitely not the only one complaining. Anonymous Debunker/Ent-Basher/Buzzkill Betty is making enemies of all the regulars (and many of the lurkers) -- he/she just likes to use me in particular as a piñata. I suppose I could be flattered.
But as Frequent Flyer pointed out yesterday (in the "More Links" post with the Evangeline Lilly item), "the negative comments come back to back on many of these comments sections which leads me to believe it is the same person over and over which is even more pathetic."

Gawker's "commenter executions" are a regular feature on that blog. Commenters can only post through invitation, and if executed, can only post again through another invitation.
