Nicole Richie Gets Five Days
Nicole Richie was sentenced to five days in city or county jail today. Five days is the minimum you get if you are convicted of a second DUI. Because she spent so long in the lockup when arrested, the judge gave Nicole credit for time served and so she is left with just four.
Nicole looked great and also looked very pregnant, although it could be just the fact that she actually has gained five pounds.
DS would be proud to see Nicole rockin' the Laboutins and Joel actually owns a suit. Who would've thunk it?

Are we sure she looks VERY pregnant? It just looks like her dress is too big and she stuffed her bra.

WTF? I didn't know that was Joel! He looks like he took a shower and washed his crack. Gawd, can you imagine them pushing a stroller? yeah...me neither.
the bump may not be extremely obvs yet but the breasts look like she's pregnant. Got to give the girl a little credit for pleading guilty rather than playing the "mommy, it's not right" a la Paris or the LiLo line "I'm innocent." Makes me have a little respect for her. Maybe she is growing up. Hopefully she won't be taking parenting tips from Britney. I wonder if Britney will even still have unsupervised visitation with her kids by the time Nicole gives birth?

This is crazy, but I actually could see Joel pushing a carriage or holding a baby (kinda like Gavin Rossdale/Gwen Stefani). I have to agree I've got a wee bit more respect for NR by standing up and taking her punishment - smart move with all the other crap that's gone on (and will go on when it's Lilo's turn).
Let's hold off with the respect thing until she actually serves time, the full ride, and then acts like a pregnant woman when she's released. Right now the "pregnancy" is a read-made "urgent medical condition that requires her release" waiting to happen.
At least right after she got her sentence she didn't immediately go talking to the paps about how "its a tragedy of justice" or "she's being treated unfairly because of who she is." In my opinion, she gets credit for that. At least she's taking the blame for what she did and isn't blaming everyone else.
I don't know if she's pregnant or not, but even if she is, I don't really see how she could use it to get out of jail. Women give birth in custody all the time. Also, even if she is pregnant, she isn't supposed to be that far along is she? I mean, she does not look like she's about ready to give birth or anything..
She probably figures if Paris had to serve her time, and she had parents with money trying to get her out of it, she doesn't stand a prayer. She really has no support system, not that the dysfunctional Hilton's are any good.
career wise she is probably better off doing the time. if she got off scott free it would inspire such hate that she would lose her endorsements and such. now she can do her four days at some local jail like Christian slater did and then she can go on all the talk shows and say how shes changed.
Some, does she have endorsements? I agree, it's wiser to just shut up and get it over with. LOL, on the talk shows comment!
