Luciano Pavarotti has slipped into unconsciousness and is unlikely to recover. Pavorotti has been suffering from pancreatic cancer and underwent treatment in a hospital as recently as two weeks ago. Doctors at that time determined there was nothing more they could do for the 71 year old singer and sent him home to his house in Modena.
Pavarotti's manager Terri Robson didn't deny the report that Luciano was in very serious condition, but wouldn't confirm that Luciano was near death.

I will be genuinely sad to lose the greatest operatic voice of our generation. He's an icon for the ages, where others are just flavours of the month.
If the hairs on the back of your neck don't stand up when he sings the last note of Nessun Dorma, you're probably a robot.
And why does this sad stuff always happen when I am taming the PMS dragon?
I mostly just read comments, and ignore the writer unless someone spouts off something particularly noteworthy (good or bad). After reading the previous comment, I closed the window and said: "I bet that was Hez". I win! :)
Really sad. RIP.
Wow Hez our cycles are linked..LOL
