Sting?
This screams Rod Stewart to me for some reason.
'stingy' Sting. Sounds familiar too.
Jimmy Page is long known to be stingy.
I'll go with Rod on this one. I've read numerous times that he's a tight wad. Wasn't he pretty stingy with his babymammas?
Sting. He also doesn't tip.
rod stewart who nickled and dimed most of his wives.
I'd say Rod. Or Mick.
Not Keith!
what about Gene Simmons? He's super rich and known to be cheap.
I was going to say Bono but the "stingy" is a clue for sure and it's probably Sting.
Lol, Sting getting grumpier in his old age. I kinda like the idea of him bailing out on his annoying friends. That's pretty rocking.
It's Sting. He's a real ass at restaurants. A crap customer.
BTW . . . Jimmy Page is the nicest EVER
I'm betting it's "Sting" -- because Britspeak for what we call stingy is "mean", isn't it?
Jimmy Page has always been known as "Led Wallet"; Robert Plant is pretty tight with a buck as well. Sting's massive ego makes me think this is him. I can't imagine Jimmy or Robert skipping out on a check, but I can certainly see Sting doing it.
Jagger, Stewart and Bowie are well-known super cheapskates. Could be any of them.
and Sting/Trudie as well
I am going with Elton John because he looks like he would "forget" to carry his purse around. And seriously wouldn't he look cuter with a purse?
And isn't tipping rare in europe? I read that somewhere or on the Travel channel.
clair...soooo true! I could *easily* picture Elton with a whole closetful of purses. Watch, Hermes will come out with the "Elton John Bolide" soon. Limited Edition.
I do think it's Sting. I've heard he doesn't tip even at strip clubs. Just sits and watches and waits for free offers.
