I'm just happy it's not another "kate leaves tom" headline.
This thing is gonna implode, and its gonna be so great. We get a front row seat to Scientology's destruction and I for one can't wait to bust out the popcorn.
It could take years before that will happen. There will be a long contued media battle, dark secrets revealed, "natural attrition", tax evasion investigations, and so forth filling magazine covers for years to come.
The COS does not give up easily. It persists like a bad rash... or bathroom fungus.
I dont ever buy these mags (online is more current and free) but if it will help circulation and other mags jump on the bandwagon Im going out at lunch to pick up!
no shit people still buy the rags..out of my circle of friends im the only one who gets my smut online...its like we speak a diff language sometimes. but go ahead and pay your %4 for watered down shit i could have told you two weeks ago.
i cannot wait for this shit to come down! wahhoo for the lil guys when it does. if it weren't for the bloggers stirring the pot then Star etc. wouldn't dig in either.
Ent have you lost someone to scientology? Given your hatred for it, I'm wondering if there isn't a personal connection you have to this.
Don't get me wrong, I'm with you 100%. Just wondering.
@dnfrommn
Ent is simply informed.
Maybe you would like to visit
www.xenu.net
or
www.exscientologykids.net
and get informed also.
DN, I lost a cousin to Scientology, but even before that I've hated it. I hate all cults. I don't think EL is any different than most of us when it comes to his disdain for it.
About 12 years ago, I rented a room to this fellow who was basically running from CoS. The phone calls he got! They kept trying to get him to go back to LA to "exit" properly, and of course he kept declining, telling them no way would he be back. The parallels to "exiting" and "jumping out" of a gang come to mind.
Gives me the creeps now, as I wonder how much information they dug up on me, to find out what kind of SP I was....chills man.
Good luck KatE. Hope that money is worth what you're going through, but somehow I doubt it.
Hello Kitty
All it takes is people like you and me. A few years ago thousands of protesters on Scientologys front door was unheard of. No news organization would do a critical piece on them due to the time magazine article and the ensuing 10 year suit over it. Scientology had successfully bullied *everyone* and got away with it.
Times have changed. Critical articles are being written and people are speaking out.. No longer is Scientology this mysterious weird *religion* you don't know much about. Everyone knows the crazy is up.. If *we all* do just one little thing we can bring the cos down pretty quickly..
When all those photos of Katie appeared recently, looking grey, skinny and haggard, I thought immediately that she'd probably just been through a Level initiation. I'm not surprised at all.
Katie Katie Katie,
what a situation you have put not only yourself, but your daughter in.
Wonder how many unsupervised visits Suri's maternal grandparent's get.
Anyone care to wager?
Hope the cost of your soul was worth it, dear.
Anyone who wants to read the Time magazine article published about CO$ in '91 (and resulted in them unsuccessfully suing Time Magazine for over 400 million) can click here. They have it archived.

Anonymous rocks.
"When all those photos of Katie appeared recently, looking grey, skinny and haggard...."
Perhaps Tom's trying to turn her into his personal alien pet, lol.
lol
i saw promoms of the Oprah jerkfest and Katie looks thinner than Kate Moss on crack...oh the good ole days..
The COS is kind of like pro-wrestling - its popularity waxes and wanes, but it never completely goes away.
like herpes
"In full disclosure, I do want everyone to know that I communicate with people at Star Magazine and we have helped each other out in the past."
WTF? This is the real conspiracy,
Scientology's bad enough as it is, can you imagine being put in a freaking BOOTCAMP!!? Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
