NY Post Blind Items

WHICH wife of a top Lehman executive went on a $132,000 shopping spree at the Americana Manhasset Mall the day after her hubby filed for bankruptcy? .

WHICH skirt-chasing Euro-billionaire tried to share the bathroom at Rose Bar with a young businesswoman who rejected his offer to perform a disgusting act? .

WHICH hot downtown eatery employs a manager who's notorious for hiring and promoting women she can sleep with, despite the fact she's "married" to another woman?

  2. Francois Pinault or whatever his name is. Salma hayek's baby daddy. He's apparently rumoured to have fathered quite a few babies in the last couple of years.

  7. omg don't get me started on these asshats that are filing bankruptcy despite their filthy rich lifestyle. i'm so sick of hearing about aig parties and the scoop from a friend that aig's human resources vp got a $250,000 bonus even tho they needed how much money for a bailout? i'd like know when the eff they're going to bail out the rest of us.

  8. Molly, I'm with you. I have a friend at an NYC party rental business and she just received a HUGE order from a troubled investment bank. The order was for a whole buttload of table linens to be shipped to a Caribbean island for the firm's VIP holiday party.

    Oh yeah.

  9. ayesha, i think they should all be forced to forfeit their salary and bonuses for the year. if they stunk so badly at doing their jobs, why are they being rewarded? its really bugs the crap out of me.

Let us all take note that "the messiah" Obama voted for the bailout (and so did McCain.) 3rd-party candidates like Libertarian Bob Barr voted against that, but why would the media ever want to cover a candidate who actually cares about the people? How nice The Messiah Obama to make sure that those rich bankers get their multi-million dollar bonuses. You can't expect them to drive the same Maserati they did last year, can you? Well, Obama's top contributors are Goldman Sachs and Citigroup so we know who he really serves. Yes we can.....pay for the multi-million dollar bonuses of fraud-committing bankers - Yay!

  11. So the top guys are responsible for the company. When things start going bad, they cut the bonuses of the lower "people" while they get millions in bonuses. When times are good, we get measly bonuses.

Some days I think Corporate America has stolen my soul.

  12. i'm bitching about the bailout but the alternative was to let all these companies go down the tubes.

things are never as simple as they seem. i'm bitching more about the way the companies conduct themselves than i am the bailout itself. i really don't think it would be good to add to the number of unemployed.
