Anyone out there know where James Franco was last night? I swear I didn't see him at the Globes but I missed them presenting his category. There aren't any red carpet pics, either, are there?

ReplyDeleteMy favourire dresses were America Ferrera (she always looks fantastic though), Drew Barrymore (A lot of sites said she looked bad but I loved it, very ethereal if that's a word), and also Demi Moore looked really great. Yes, I know she has has plastic surgery, but she must have an excellent surgeon, or she just knows when to stop. She looked great and it was really cute when she asked Rumer not to hunch.
I thought Sandra Bullock was funny and cute but Ricky Gervais totally stole the show for me. He was hilarious!
Um, what else...oh, Kate Winslet and her hour long acceptance speeches. I was squirming, it was so uncomfortable.
Also, I noticed that Angelina brought her bitchface once again.
Wow, at least one person in each photo has a name that starts with the letter "A". LOL :)

Did anyone else enjoy seeing Brad n Ang get snubbed? i know i did! although from what i hear he deserves it for Benjamin Button. Angie, not so much.
Hated Angie's dress, so dowdy. I hate that loose, hanging-over top part.

ReplyDeleteAlso agree something is off with Angelina. I am not a fan of her's but she seems overly snobbish and aloof around her peers lately.
When she first had the twins and was promoting her movies she was okay (kinda nice). Now she acts like shes really way too good for all the other female celebs.
I saw her and Brad on the red carpet and pehaps it's the way the industry is treating them that allows them to forget they're mere humans.
The couple needs to be brought down a notch or five so that they can gain some human perspective.

Hi Prisca, we don't eat Newbies here unless they're particularly juicy. I don't think there's anything going on between Kate and Leo besides a really deep friendship, but there have been rumors about her and the hubby having troubles.

ReplyDeleteAngelina looks much better with her hair down. Less skeletal. The dress looks like a potato sack with sequins sewn on, however.
Everyone else looks really nice. Wish there was a pic up of Tina Fey though, I thought she looked really gorgeous last night.
I just saw a clipping of Angelina and Brad giving Gay Crest the cold shoulder LOL. That was hilarious!!

ReplyDeleteJames Franco is in grad school at both NYU and Columbia...i think that is why he wasnt there...school starts this week for a lot of people and he made it clear that he is taking time off to get an MFA.

I almost didn't recover from my eyeroll when Anna Paquin won an award for her "acting" on True Blood. She is AWFUL on that show. Just AWFUL.

ReplyDeleteYou know, I really don't by the huge feud between Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin. They didn't have to sit next to eachother at all, but they did. Alec thanked almost no one in his speech and pretty much ran off the stage, but he somehow managed to thank Tina 3 times. I'm sure they're not the best of friends, but I don't think they hate each other. They seemed awfully close and friendly at the Peabody Awards a couple of months ago. I feel like a joke in a photoshoot got taken out of context and has created something completely different.
