Affleck and......
ReplyDeleteCasey Affleck and Joaquin... wait they aren't married.
ReplyDeleteNeil Simon and Sarah Jessica Parker.
ReplyDeleteMorely Safer and Gwyneth Paltrow. Seriously, I don't have a clue.
ReplyDeleteSiegfried & Lohan
ReplyDeleteNo idea, but I feel like the word "odd" might be a clue.
ReplyDeleteLil Wayne and zombie Katharine Hepburn.
ReplyDeleteBen Affleck and Matthew Broderick! (JK-no real idea, but it's fun to pair random celebrities in my head!!)
ReplyDeleteI will add, though, that Matthew Broderick was in the B'way play "The Odd Couple" recently...
ReplyDeleteAll right Kathryn, are you the one that always puts zombie____ as an answer for Gawker blind items or did you borrow the idea? If you're the orignal user of the zombie_____ answer then kudos to you. Those answers/guesses always make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteNeil Simon wrote the play "The Odd Couple. Maybe it's Neil and Mathew.
ReplyDeleteAlright, I know I posed a similar question on CDAN last week, but why why why did SJP get married to Matthew? Like, did she not know he was gay? What does she really get out of that relationship then if she "knows" he's not?
ReplyDeletePlease! I don't get it!

ReplyDeleteI'll help. Here's why women get married to gay men:
ReplyDelete1) Companionship
2) Laughs
3) Mutual interests
4) To simulate heterosexuality (for parents, friends, enemies, the workplace, the government, the world)
5) To be able to say to everyone that you're *married* (not single, not dating, not living with some guy or breaking up with some guy)
Here's why famous women get married to gay men, and/or famous gay men get married to women:
6) To improve the social and/or career status of one partner or the other, or both
7) To pool and build wealth (or sometimes drain/get drained dry)
Alright, I hear you David :) I guess I'm just not getting the "sexual" aspect, know what I mean? Because, hey I may be wrong, but it sure doesn't seem as if Sarah's gettin' any. Same with Ms. Kate Holmes. It wouldn't be worth it to me, but I guess that's just me.
ReplyDeletewell, i had a very good friend who married a gay man. the answer was simple for her, and i imagine in other cases too. she didn't care that much about sex. they adopted a child, were best friends, had a lot in common and were extremely happy. he did whatever he did and was discreet. it worked. whatever floats your boat.
ReplyDelete'Mutual spouses' is gramatically confusing...d'ya think it's meant to be 'respective spouses'?
ReplyDeleteIs it Tom and Will? They're both odd but on the other hand, it wouldn't be any surprise to their *respective* spouses. Dang.
Oh Paleale, there are all sorts of ways to deal with sex. There are male and female escorts, bodyguards, personal trainers, etc. (Or, if your SJP, you can just go shopping instead.)
ReplyDeleteBy the way: Celine Dion and Wayne Newton would make a pretty odd couple.
Ohhh, David D. - I like the way you think.
ReplyDeleteI thought Neil Simon was dead. Kathryn, would that make him Zombie Neil Simon?
Actually, it's people like Liza Minelli who would rather marry a best friend, than a lover.
ReplyDeleteIm thinking Patrick Dempseyy and Ellen Pompeo
ReplyDeleteCan we outlaw marriage? It just leads to soooo many problems.
ReplyDeleteJ Lo and Marc Antony....
ReplyDeleteDavid Spade and anybody tall and good looking would be an odd couple ... but he's not married ...
ReplyDeletethis could be a guy-n-girl, doesnt mean its 2 guys
actually .... remake of The Odd Couple on broadway had nathan lane, matthew broderick and brad garrett ...
ReplyDeleteso its matthew or brad and who?
Eva Longoria and Marc Anthony. They were seen together in on December 6th in Las Vegas.
