JASON SEGEL
SETH ROGEN
I have to admit - I am a little tired of the re-doing of old images/photographs/icons. Get creative, people!
ReplyDeleteBUT - Jason Segel as Buster Keaton? LOVE THIS!
And Seth Rogan as Frida? Lovely.
And Amy and Will look beautiful as usual.
i agree with you,Cabbage Babble!
ReplyDeleteFunny guys are sexy...especially Paul Rudd. YUM!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, that first picture is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteLOL ... I love all of them... the last one is GENIUS!
ReplyDeletelove those photo's! that doesn't even look like amy poehler and seth rogan's is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these but the first one is going to make me happy for a long, long time. I had a little bit of coffee come out of my nose. Luckily, it was lukewarm office coffee.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes. Paul Rudd is hot.
I too love these photos. I think they're fabulous. Paul Rudd as Young Frankenstein is unrecognizable!
ReplyDeleteI love them all. They're not trying to be serious. It has a comedic edge to it.
ReplyDeleteI cannot cannot cannot see Paul Rudd in the young frankenstein pic. And oh yeahh.... he is tres hot.
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks fabulous in these. LOVE all the funny men and women pictured above :)
If you're a Paul Rudd fan you should see "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" if you haven't already. He was so damned funny in it.
ReplyDelete(And deliciously cute, of course!)
ReplyDeletelove to see these guys profiled...altho i don't think russell brand deserves a mention among that bunch. his level of toolocity is way too high.
ReplyDeletePaul Rudd.
ReplyDeleteDamn, what a cutie.
Oh, and this photography kicks ass.
I mean, that chest hair is scrumdillyicious!
ReplyDeleteHe out-sexy's Tom Ford, and THAT is hard to do, gay or no gay...
Seth Rogen as Frida that's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteGreat set but they should have done this list a year or more ago if they'd wanted to be cutting edge. And what, no Elizabeth Banks or Isla Fisher?
ReplyDeleteSelena--I totally thought that WAS Tom Ford at first. I regularly drool over Tom and Paul, gay/straight/taken/whatever! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been a huge Paul Rudd fan since 200 Cigarettes (with Courtney Love, who was really good, actually...) but why why why why why does Young Frankenstein need to be redone? It's a classic...it would be like a redo of It's a Wonderful Life or Sunset Boulevard (making that a stage musical was bad enough). So wrong.
ReplyDeleteVanity Fair is reaching BUT-I'd watch Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler in anything.
ReplyDeleteThat's would be Big Box Office.
uh..No Tina Fey??? great snaps.
ReplyDeleteThey're not remaking the movie, just a pic.
ReplyDeleteLove these photos. Forgive my ignorance, but who is Will Arnett trying to channel? I'd guess Han Solo, but that wouldn't explain the spotlight. Not Snake Pliskin, because he doesn't have an eyepatch. (Snake had a full leather jacket too, right?)
God, Paul Rudd, you incredibly sexy beast, I love you.
ReplyDeleteAnd can someone please shoot Russell Brand.
It is a hit on all accounts! Love this!
ReplyDeletearen't Amy Poehler and Will Arnett supposed to be Bonnie & Clyde?
ReplyDeleteThis has to be the best Vanity Fair photo story ever. So what if they're redoing the classics? They chose well.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if they airbrushed out Amy's pregnancy? Surely, they wouldn't have done these pics so long ago that she didn't show, or so recently that she's already bounced back, would they?
According to the behind-the-scenes video, Will is suppose to be Han Solo. *shrugs*
ReplyDeleteOK--Danny McBride.
ReplyDeleteHave y'all seen his new show on HBO called East Bound and Down? It might just be the funniest damn thing I've seen in over a year (which would be either Forgetting Sarah Marshall or Flight of the Conchords, but I digress). They are only three episodes in but that pilot had me in pain from the laughter ("I instantly regretted saying that!!!!!").
I miss my HBO. :( Damned bad economy.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Eastbound and Down.
ReplyDeleteok wait... I said I love all these comedians, but I was overlooking the fact that I don't know who Russell Brand is..... Someone care to indulge?
ReplyDeleteI knew you two had excellent taste! :)
ReplyDeleteMooshki--If I ever figger out my newfangled DVD recordin machine, I'll make you some bootleg copies. I got friends livin up in your neck of the woods who'd be more than obliged to pass 'em on to you!
OMFG!!!!! Paul Rudd as Tom Ford!!!!
ReplyDeleteFreakin awesome. I love Paul Rudd and have always thought he was sexy in a 'Jughead' way but this just proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that I'm completely jealous of his wife!
Genius....pure genius.
The photographers deserve their own fan base. These pictures are great & such a welcome change from airbrushed, overly chest & lip inflated women the magazines usually put on their covers. Well done!
ReplyDeleteAw, that's sweet, Princess. :)
ReplyDeletemoosh, i can actually still make video tapes.
ReplyDeletenyet on russell brand as cc. it took me a year to find out who dude was, and no way in hell can he fill those shoes. look up RDJ's film.
and same w/ rudd as YF. nope. sorry, just one of my favorite movies of all time. gene wilder is still alive and going strong, must we bury him already?
The pics are cool but what the heck is w/ Anna Faris being included in this bunch? Did I miss something??
