Kiefer Sutherland Is A Great Role Model For His Daughter
The NY Post says that Kiefer Sutherland was spotted in a bar Thursday night. Thursday? Today is Tuesday. Seriously. And this is from today's edition of the Post. Hell, their sources must use smoke signals or something. Damn. Anyway, it was a long weekend, and I guess they finally got around to checking their voicemails.
Kiefer, who has been to rehab and to jail because of his drinking and head butted a guy due to being drunk, just doesn't seem to care. He was spotted at a bar with his 21 year old daughter just drinking Dewars on the rocks. The article didn't say what Kiefer's daughter was drinking, but I am guessing it wasn't booze or they would have jumped all over it. I think she will either end up drinking as much as her dad or she will see what it has done to him and never touch the stuff.
What I hate is that he is setting a horrible example for his own child. How can he ever give her advice about anything because obviously his decision making skills suck. Kiefer is the guy you see who repeat offends until he kills someone. Even that doesn't always stop people from drinking, or drinking and driving. Hello Gary Collins.
You would just think that he could at least make an effort around his daughter.

As a child of an ex alcoholic, I can say right now that there's no guarantees she'll do either polar opposite. My three sisters and I all enjoy in moderation, though our father never managed to.
it's sad, really. he truly seems to be one of those people that just doesn't get it. it's a shame b/c he really is talented.

Well hopefully YOU would have your pants on when you sat at that booth afterwards so it woulnd't be much of an issue. If you decided to sit there naked as well, then yes, ewww yuck.
I would much rather hear the story behind this picture than hear about him drinking again. I'm guessing it's an old photo? Time to do some digging!
His daughter could be learning from his example, Enty. She could be learning what NOT to do! (I learned from my parent's mistakes and do the opposite.)

I'm a little bit in love with him right now because I watched "The Lost Boys" the other day.
I don't see why his daughter having a drink with him is a big deal though. She's 21 and can drink as much as she wants. I agree that he's probably not setting a great example for her but still...she's old enough to know the difference.

His daughter is 21. She's hardly a child, and WELL past the point at which his off-the-wagon-ness is going to influence her.

His younger brother Rossif is an incredible talent - both as a musician/singer and actor but he chose to go his own way. He's not a celebrity and as much as he carries the family name, he hasn't cashed in on it. Gotta respect that ethos over pants down in a bar any day....

Anyway, I also think there's nothing wrong with him having a drink with his of-age daughter in a bar. Maybe she's a calming influence on him and SHE's setting a good example for HIM! :-)
