Today's Blind Items
This one kind of hurts because I like this person. She is a celebrity. Not an actress, but a C+/B- television host and former reality star. Anyway as a host of her program she has a few provisions that she needs followed at all times. No one can speak to her prior to 8am. Also, she needs a minimum of two hours for makeup. Either her boyfriend or a friend must be with her at all times. She only does one take of each stand up she does before the camera. One. No more than that ever. She is such a diva that most of the crew quits after working with her for just one episode.

ReplyDeleteI kind of like the Chelsea Handler guess above. The clues do make sense - boyfriend is head of E!, and the "one take of each stand up" seems to point to a comedian. Also, she did Girls Behaving Badly (I think that was the name) which might be considered a reality show.

Notice Enty says "as a host" instead of "as THE host?" I'm thinking whatever the show is has multiple people at the helm.

Jenny McCarthy made her early career by being an airheaded skank, just like Paris, and now she thinks she gets to judge? At least Paris does not feel she is qualified to write books about "preventing and curing Autism". Jenny McCarthy is an unt-cay.

Plus, she does have lot of makeup applied to her since her show began to be shown in HD. She's the host of the program and with Girls Behaving Badly, fits the reality show thing too. Plus, her boyfriend is the head of E! as she always mentions.
Screw it though. I watch her show every night and love it.
I think it's Chelsea because of the stand up reference thing.

ReplyDeleteI totally pictured Kathy Griffin for this one. She's dating Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple), so that fits. She had a reality show, and does stand-up, and always seems like SUCH a bitch.

ReplyDeleteI don't see it as Chelsea. When a stand-up is referred to in this context, they just mean her doing her bit - i.e. introducing whatever segment they are showing, that is why it seems more like Bridget to me. I hope not though, because I kind of liked her too.

ReplyDeleteIt's not Chelsea. I have been to two tapings of her show and she had to do a few takes of her opening monologue...and other parts of the show. She was really nice, too.
ReplyDeleteI don't see how the show continues on if they have to hire a new crew EVERY episode. That sounds to me as if it's not someone who is the host of every episode of the show.

ReplyDeleteI think "former reality star" is the biggest clue. But who? Cindy Margolis was on a celebrity cooking show on NBC. Chelsea Handler likewise had a reality show briefly, "On the Lot." But I don't think it's either one.
My first thought was Padma Lakshmi bc Enty seems to really like her (or at least thinks she is really good looking – which she is) and she hosts Top Chef but she is an actress and was not a reality star just hosts a reality show. So not her.
ReplyDeleteHope, I don’t think it is Bridget Marquardt or at least I don’t want to believe it bc she seems nice and easy to work with. I am not sure what Enty means by “needs” 2 hours of makeup. I took it to mean that she thinks she needs it, not that it takes 2 hours to make her beautiful.
This one is kind of hard. So far I think the Chelsea guess is best even though I am not completely convinced. Caroline, when did you go to the tapings? Maybe this diva behavior is new?
