#1 - This female reality judge on an A list reality program is getting paid to endorse a product. The product has a very limited budget for publicity. It is about $200,000 for an entire year. Our reality star spent $20,000 of it in one weekend on hotels, room service and the long distance calls of her agent.
#2 - This C list movie actor in a blockbuster summer movie paid for his date to be at the premiere. As in she charged him by the hour paid. She looked it too.
#3 & 4 - This age inappropriate booty call relationship had another episode when our B listers hooked up again. The guy does movies and television but has made his fame on one television show. The woman does primarily television but does a movie when someone is dumb enough to pay her.

Well...then why is this company using an A list celebrity to endorse their product if they don't expect to spend some money??? I am sure this celebrity is helping them sell whatever it is they are selling to make up for the hotels and room service bills.

ReplyDeleteaThe guesses then, if I remember correctly, leaned toward James Garner (movies and TV - Maverick being the one that made his fame) and Kaley Cuoco, who played James' character's granddaughter on "8 Simple Rules..." and who is currently on "The Big Bang Theory."

ReplyDeleteI would imagine #4 is an actress who does movies, but doesn't do well in them, hence the "dumb enough to pay her" line. Since Hayden has only one mainstream movie credit where she's the lead or major co-star (Beth Cooper, and it hasn't even opened yet), I doubt this is her. Before you say it, Bring It On 3 was straight-to-DVD and doesn't count.

ReplyDeleteThere was an article about Hayden being @ the Entourage preview party for the new season. It made a point of saying that she and Piven were hanging out all night and were extremely friendly.
Also, the article pointed out that she was one of the very few non-Entourage people who attended.

ReplyDeleteWell, dammit. I always said if I ever had a daughter I wanted to name her Olivia Jade. Does switching the names make it less so? (But then in one of the most random of coincidences I met someone, now a friend, whose daughter is named Jade Olivia. Seeing as she hasn't even hit third grade yet I hate to think her lot in life is already decided.)
