Bridezillas Isn't Real

Another reality show is out of the closet as not being real. I always thought Bridezillas was more real than most reality shows, but according to Karee Gibson who starred on the show, she was paid to act like an out of control bride for the show.

"I thought it would be a nice opportunity for me to show my acting skills, cause I've always wanted to be an actress and also a way for my family to get some income to help me pay for my wedding."

"I'm not like that at all and that's why it was fun for me because I'm not like that at all and that's why I'm getting so upset because everybody thinks I'm like that because I did such a good job acting and that's not me."

Apparently this all came to light because Karee is said to have violated her parole by being on the show. Oh yes, Karee is on parole for getting in a fight back in high school. Karee, who is 21 said she invited her parole officer to be on the show and he declined. Instead he said she violated the terms of her parole and is now going to jail. What kind of fight do you get into in high school where you are still on probation or parole three years later? I'm guessing she wasn't just acting when she was a Bridezilla despite what she says.

Hmm, past history of violence and aggression, check. violent and aggressive outbursts while planning wedding seem to fit with the history.

I know people can change, but it'll take more than a couple years to change a lifetime of bad habits

  2. I know tons of people that are still on probation after three years. Especially if they haven't paid their fines or finished classes.

How the heck would be on a reality show violate her probation though? Or was it what they SAW her doing when she was on the show that violated her probation.

I like the eloquence of her quote. She's not like that at all, did she mention that?

    I hate reality shows.

  5. WTF? Why does her lawyer look like a pimp?

  6. This is too crazy, going to jail for acting...
If that's the case, I say the jails should be full of so-called actors.

  7. This makes no sense at all. Now, the government and tax payers get to pay more to handle her case and she is stuck with an overworked and underpaid parole officer for another couple of years after she comes out of jail. After three years of no incidents, the slate should be wiped clean.

  8. I watched that show once, and I immediately thought that this must be rigged. I don't know of many people who would stick around after being treated THAT horribly. It just looked forced.

  9. I've known too many BZs in real life to have ever been able to watch it.

A regular, everyday bride can go from zero to b*tch faster than a Corvette, believe me.

Especially if you are a relative...

  10. never thought it was real. there have been some horrible 'actresses' on there. yeah, you get bitchy but most of that shit is obviously put on.

  11. If one of her parole conditions is that she cannot even show any threatening behaviour at all, she must have a violent, threatening past. Although I believe that all reality shows are staged to some extent, I'm sure her acting skills branch from her real-life behaviours.

And I second that question-- why does her lawyer look like a pimp?

  13. I actually watched a few minutes of her show and she was a horrible, horrible person. I'm glad its staged and thats not her in real life! I love how she is blaming her stellar acting skills. If you can watch her episode, I only watched maybe 5 minutes and she was a monster!

  15. Hmm - have other bridezillas stepped up to confirm this fuckery?
I didn't watch the vid - did she at least really get married??
