Anna Nicole Smith Had Sex With Doctors Who Prescribed Her Medications

The Los Angeles Times has done some digging into the death of Anna Nicole Smith and found some pretty incredible items. To me anyway, it looks like the doctors writing prescriptions to Anna had no idea what they were giving her. They were just giving her what she wanted and the amounts she asked for. Anna's psychiatrist was repeatedly told by a pharmacist that the combination of drugs she wanted to give Anna would be suitable for a dying cancer patient or someone you want to kill and refused to fill the prescriptions. The psychiatrist has been charged along with Howard K Stern and another doctor with conspiring to provide Anna with controlled substances.

Dr. Khristine Eroshevich was Anna's psychiatrist and she started writing prescriptions for Anna once Anna started having sex with her. Investigators found pictures on Anna's laptop of the couple naked in a bathtub. Eroshevich's lawyer said the doctor always had Anna's best interests at heart even if they were having sex. The other doctor charged with conspiracy has always denied a sexual relationship with Anna even though there are pictures of them making out while he is partially dressed.

I think the doctors should lose their licenses and go to jail for writing prescriptions that were excessive. They did enable Anna much like a drug dealer enables. Just because they are doctors doesn't give them carte blanche to help someone stay addicted.

  3. They need to be stripped of their licenses, permanently. No trial.

  6. I agree they should lose their licenses, for the prescriptions AND for either having sex with her or "being partially dressed" with her. These people are leeches who took advantage of their patient. Unacceptable

  9. I certainly don't condone any of these supposed professionals' behavior, and I believe they prescribed and abetted Anna in a reckless, harmful manner, but I can't help but wonder why no one is addressing Anna's blame in this whole situation? She purposely sought out people who would prescribe her ungodly amounts of narcotics and also participated in morally objectionable acts to obtain said drugs, and yet it seems we are all placing the blame on the doctors and Howard K. Stern. No one force-fed Anna these drugs, and it doesn't seem like she had any intention of quitting either. She continued to do these drugs even after her son died of an overdose (however suspicious the circumstances were). Yes, Howard K. Stern is a total scumbag and, along with her doctors, deserves to be punished severely, but let's not forgot that Anna was seeking and taking those drugs.

  10. Thank you, Enty, for posting this, Anna never had a chance in the shark tank, that had become her life. These Docs should & hopefully will be prosecuted, for their crimes. Howard Stern is just as culpable IMO, the poor girl should have gone to rehab after Daniel's death. Instead she was drugged up, so the $ train could keep rolling. So, very sad noone was looking out for her.

  11. So, if all this happened to Anna, how many other abuses like this are happening within the medical profession every single day? That's what's scariest to me.

  12. Hippocratic oath, spell? First, do no harm.

  13. Have you read the list of drugs and amounts she was prescribing? It's mind blowing.

  14. i think they were using her as a drug launderer for their own addictions.

  15. eep! heartbreaking. thx, syd, for the pic...wow tho, as Curly Sue said, "Anna never had a chance in the shark tank, that had become her life."

  16. Can you imagine having to fuck somebody to get what you want your ENTIRE life? What a sad existence. No wonder she wanted to be out of her mind on meds.

The sick part is that these doctors had to know that keeping her drugged would keep her sexually interested in them, or at least completely pliable.

And ITA agree that at least Howard was using Anna's name to 'launder' his habit.

  17. wait a minute. someone wants to blame anna for this??? she was a fucking DRUG ADDICT. she asked for massive quantities of drugs---that's what an addict with money would do. the people who should've known better and are medical professionals PROVIDED the addict with what she asked for, knowing full well the possible consequences of doing so. THEY are responsible, not the drug-addled addict.
these people enriched themselves financially and also got to indulge their own little kinks with a person who had lost her grip on her life. what could be more disgusting than that?
i'm all about personal responsibility but come on. in this case, just like MJ's, you have repulsive, greedy assholes like these who make it as easy as possible for their 'meal ticket' to stay sick. you simply CAN'T hold the addict as responsible as you do these inhuman beings.

  18. Why is this just coming out now? If the paper would have never asked, would these psycho docs still be preying on their patients?

  20. i hate doctors. they are idiots. my mother is a completely hooked on pain medications. she has like 6 different doctors just write out prescriptions for whatever she damn well wants. i have literally called their offices and TOLD THEM not to write her any more prescriptions and every single one of them has proceeded to continue to give her whatever she wants.

they are idiots. these idiots dont even talk to one another to check and see if they are giving her drugs that will be lethal when combined.

i have NO sympathy for addicts or their idiot doctors.

i hope they loose their licenses for good.

  22. Re Nikki:
I totally agree with you-- I'm a nurse practitioner and my boyfriend is a doctor who specializes in pain management. It's a symbiotic relationship between addicts and the immoral doctors who prescribe to them repeatedly without cause. But I can tell you this: many, MANY doctors, NPs, and PAs prescribe judicially, and want the best for their patients, not only because it's the right thing to do, but because it is extremely damaging to have an FDA inquiry into your prescriptive history; you can lose your livelihood forever (which you have worked for years to achieve).

Unfortunately, your mother seems to have found the rotten apples in our bunch, and for that I am truly sorry. Just remember, there are reasons your mother sought out these particular practitioners, and continues to see them. Chances are these practitioners are people who prey upon people like your mother everyday, so trying to appeal to them emotionally or reason with them is a moot point. You are never going to shelter your mother from the millions of people who are waiting to victimize her; you would do best by confronting and dealing with your mother directly, as hard as that sounds. I'm sorry for your pain, but I hope this can help you out somewhat.

Re Nancer: Yes, I am. She is equally a part of this as the doctors who supplied her with medicine. As much as they are wrong, the only one who could have helped Anna, is, sadly, Anna herself. There will always be a drug dealer, regardless of the supposed legality.

I'm sorry for being long-winded, but I am confronted with this situation EVERYDAY and it's dificult to deal with, either side.

  23. I am also a health care provider and I am with Lenore. I feel bad for addicts--the kind addicted to methamphetamines or the kind addicted to Norco---and I agree that the doctors involved, Howard K. Stern, and anyone else involved with supplying Anna Nicole should be prosecuted and have their licenses taken away.

California has not even shown an action yet against ERoshevich, NOR does Michael Jackson's doctor's license. They are both currently licensed to practice in California. However, if the board of medical quality finds that they did supply her with drugs against her best interests, there will be action. If these doctors had sex with her, there will be action, too. It's just slow.

BUt Lenore is right--it's not just the drug suppliers that feed an addiction. Addicts like to think they're victims, but they ARE the ONLY ones who have any power to stop their addiction. Ultimately, Anna Nicole Smith deprived her daughter and her family of forty more years of her company, and that is both tragic and infuriating.

  24. i'm also a registered nurse. lots of professionals here, i see. sorry, but anna nicole was the impaired one here. NOT these so-called doctors. i guess we're back to the simplistic 'just say no to drugs' approach if we're holding someone in the depths of addiction as responsible as these supposed health care professionals. should anna nicole have sought treatment? of course! but that would have taken those around her withholding support of her habit and leaving her no alternative but treatment. did anybody do that? hell NO! these people should be not only stripped of their licenses, they should be held criminally responsible. until some of these quacks do some serious time, this shit is never going to stop.

  25. this is exactly why i "keep all my eggs in one basket".
i have chronic pain (and other issues) but ONLY get scrips from my primary doc. and only use one pharmacy.
the other side of the coin was before i was properly diagnosed and had an HMO. i was turned over to "pain management", where i was allowed one darvocet a day as long as i returned every 30 days, 120 miles round trip. it was humiliating, degrading, and increasingly depressing. and of course, i was not allowed to seek any other treatment.
by the time we were able to change to private insurance, i actually cried in the new doctor's office when he gave me four darv/daily.
i dunno, maybe that's why i don't abuse them. i have access to what i need if i need it, (i have some really heavy duty stuff for our upcoming trip, because i've needed it the last two trips), but i also still have a few oxys left from my hip surgery 3 years ago.
okay, i've wandered away from the point.
if i HAD developed a problem, i could have gone to my primary, my shrink, my ortho, my neurolgist (hell, he's REALLY easy) and then hit every pharmacy in town. the point of the triplicate scrip (for narcotics) is supposed to be to keep this from happening. you know she didn't hit the pharmacies herself. they had to written out to other names. if she asked for them, the doctors should have said no. i only have enough heavy stuff for 10 days to cover vacation time. my doctor trusts me, but she has a responsibility not just to me, but to the state and to herself.
junkie or not, anna's doctors are just a liable if not more, because it is obvious she didn't have the reasoning capability that i do to determine when enough is enough.

    @ gladys & lenore:
EXACTLY how does the triplicate scrip work? i've always assumed the pharmacy keeps one (okay, nowadays a copy), the state gets one, and the doctor gets one back, but i've never thought to ask.

  26. That is really, really sad.

  27. I read a tell-all book called 'Rebels on the Backlot'.
Quentin Tarantino knew he hit it big as a director when he could summon Anna Nicole sight unseen to his office for S-E-X with one phone call.Shame on them both.
