Every Celebrity In The UK Is A Suspect - But Here Is The Name - Kind Of

So, yesterday I e-mailed some people in the UK who told me the name of the person Katie Price said during the taping of her reality show and accused of raping her. It turns out that once you have the name and then Google it in a combination with Katie Price that it is pretty common knowledge at least on message boards.

Of course the name that was given to me is not the first name that was bandied about on the message boards. The first name and a man who has been CLEARED is Warren Furman who was a Gladiator on the UK version of that show. He dated Katie for two years. No one in the media thinks he did it and he was not the person named in the ITV taping, but from now until the end of time if you Google his name, I am sure there will be some kind of tag with rape.

The celebrity Katie named is not really known in the US unless you are a huge sports fan. He also has something in common with a very famous person from a famous family, who recently passed away. That is about as much as I am willing to reveal and I only reveal that because that is the name Katie said to everyone on the set of her show and not because I believe he necessarily a rapist.

From what the police are saying today, I'm not sure there would ever be enough to charge the man with a crime. "Based on our inquiries and the lack of substantiated information - particularly around locations and dates of any allegations - we have recorded an incident, but due to its very historic nature we are dependent on Miss Price's co-operation to formally record a crime and continue any investigation. Should any new information come to light, it will be diligently investigated and this position may be reviewed."

Yesterday Katie was specifically asked about the guy I have semi-hidden above and she refused to make any kind of statement. I wonder now if she wishes she had stayed quiet about the whole thing. I understand about keeping something like this between you and your family and friends, but when you tell an entire production crew the name, then you need to do something about it and not just keep saying the name and accusing someone of doing something without allowing them to defend themselves.

I don't understand why she is bringing this up if she didn't do anything about it at the time it happen.

Is this just publicity for herself?

  2. Could be publicity - BUT, you can't assume any victim of rape will respond rationally to the situation. If it were a "date rape" situation w/someone famous (perceived as powerful) it would mean publicity anyway. Surely not the kind many victims would want to deal with. Most rape victims don't want to repeat it to the doctors or police, nevermind have it scrutinized by the media.

She opened her mouth in the first place to defend her BF who was supposedly going to flim a rape scene in a porn flick.

She opened her mouth knowing exactly what would happen in the press and to then to say it was a celebrity (which has NO importance if she has been raped) screams of attention.

Because it is Katie Price I can't assume this is fiction it may have happened but with so many media tricks lately and the public turning on her after her divorce, I have a hard time believing anything she says.

With regards to the footballer whatever comes of this, and most likely it will be nothing, we will all look at him and wonder, same with John Leslie.

I am hating the attention that this is getting.

  4. hmmmmm from this "The celebrity Katie named is not really known in the US unless you are a huge sports fan. He also has something in common with a very famous person from a famous family, who recently passed away"

so a huge UK sports celebrity who has something in common with Michael Jackson? (i say that coz MJ is the only "very famous, from famous family who recently passed)..... who would that be?
Hmmmm is she accusing her son "harvey's dad"? he is a famous sports guy in UK and he's black unless the commonality with MJ is about some sort of accusations?

  5. Katie Price KNEW exactly what she was doing but probably didn't count on the backlash and pressure she's now facing from the media, public and police to "put up or shut up" rape is a HORRIBLE thing, its not a thing to take lightly or joke about personally I don't yet completely believe she was actually raped KP has been known to say absolutely anything and do absolutely anything for publicity so its difficult to know what's really true and what's fiction for the sake of "publicity" even her ex Peter Andre has said he has no clue what Katie is talking about re: rape and that KP never told him anything yet KP has been in the media saying PA knows about the rape and about who the person who raped her was....

something is just not adding up in this story and the losers are her kids and the string of "men" that will have this allegation stuck on them because they were with KP at any particular point....

counting 7...6...5...4...3.... until the name is out in public....

  6. She actually dated the Australian Soccer player whom is Harvey's father. He is not the rapist. Why he ever got near her stale coochie, I don't know. He can do 10 times better.

  7. "Famous person from a famous family" refers to Ted Kennedy. Google his nickname in combination with Katie Price and you'll have it...

  8. Ted is his nickname, full name = Edward. What other nicknames are there?

  10. @Jamie's Girl - she's definitely a flake, but she's parenting that boy and his father is NOT. Bad enough for any child, worse when the child is so severely handicapped.

Please don't give props to deadbeat fathers.

  15. She's accusing Teddy Sherringham. He is a top bloke. If he did it he deserves to be arrested, but of course she wouldn't ever formalise the accusation because she's a fame wh*ring piece of sh*t.

For all those who have no time to search. I just wasted 5 minutes for you. :)

  20. It disturbs me that her thighs are the same thickness as her calves. Is that possible without surgery?

Also, is there a statute of limitations on rape charges?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Teddy Sherringham? yeh, rape is disgraceful, but why one earth would he be so desperate for that skanky ass?

More likely a one-night stand and he didn't want any more of her - probably before she snagged Dwight Yorke (Harvey's father). SPS - Soccer Player slag!

I call Lie Lies and More Lies on her.

  22. 1 in 6 women will be a victim of sexual assault in their lifetime.

Every 2 minutes, someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted.

60% of sexual assaults are not reported to the police.

Approximately 73% of rape victims know their assailants.

Only 6% of rapists will ever spend a day in jail.

Just because you may not like Katie Price as a person does not mean that she wasn't raped. NO means NO.

  24. Sexual assault is an incredibly personal and destructive crime. Its effects on victims and their loved ones can be felt psychologically, emotionally, and physically. They can be brief in duration or last a very long time. It is important to remember that there is no one “normal” reaction to sexual assault. Every individual's response will be different depending on the situation.

S I completely agree with you No means No, however the way this story has developed and the untruths that have been uncovered already lead to the conclusion that she is lying - a lie that went further than she thought.

You clearly do not know of Katie Price and realise what an uncreditable source she is on all things.

    ReplyDelete
  26. th only reason she is keeping quiet just now is because she is selling yet another story in this sunday's news of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  27. And you, Mrs Brightside were not there when the incident happened, nor do you know Katie Price or Teddy personally, so why not stfu?

Let's hope you never accuse a man of rape only to have everyone call you a liar. Or rather, let's hope you do :)
    Karma, bitch, karma.

Calm down darling, it's called an opinion.

  29. Also - lets hope noone ever calls you a rapist in public when you are innocent.

  30. (im not saying he is, mind you.)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't care who she is or what she's done. Her credibility has nothing to do with whether or not it happened - only whether or not people believe her. If he's a rapist and his name is out there, other victims may come forward. Cops now have a file on it so it IS official.
And rape has NOTHING to do with sex. It's about power and control. Rapists are not horndogs who are out looking to get laid.

  32. Teddy Sheringham?? Really? wow, that one knocked me for six. If you'd thrown out Dwight Yorke or some other random i could have bought it... but Teddy? go figure.

  33. Teddy Sheringham played for Manchester United at the same time as Dwight Yorke (Harvey's father)

The Partying was legendary in out tabloids at the time, which is why they where both sold by the manager at the time
