I didn't watch the clip, but the still photo above is creepy to me. He looks like a ghost or the undead there.
ReplyDeleteUgh... he looked like absolute hell.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't look like your average 50 year old, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone hear that he was diagnosed with Lupus years ago?
ReplyDeleteit's so sad watching this...knowing now that he resorted every night to being shot up w/ surgical grade anesthesia in order to get some sleep...
ReplyDeletewow.
I can't believe how frail he was. There was NO way he was gonna pull of a tour anywhere NEAR what his fans who had seen him years before had seen. I saw him back in '88 and he was PHENOMENAL.
ReplyDeleteDrugs are bad, mmmkay?
That made me sad. He was such a great talent. It sucks what his life became.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt he had loads of talent. But I really believe he was a pedophile, or at least went way over the line. Since he's gone, I can once again enjoy his music and art.
ReplyDeleteWhatever the issue was - he is at rest now and it's in god's hands. I thought from the photos of his rehersals that he looked extremely unhealthy - anorexic and more. Yes to the Lupus. I will say that I believe in the justice system and let that be the end of what I say about his troubles. Sad. I would have gone to a concert.
ReplyDeleteWow- I forget how amazing truely his voice was- you tend to focus so much on the music and dancing that you forget how smooth and gorgeous that voice was.
ReplyDeleterip mikey
p.s. cant wait to see the movie!
ReplyDeleteI was about to comment on his voice as well, Jasmine. We're so used to hearing shit these days, it's nice to hear someone who can sing even while they're rehearsing.
